Have you ever experienced this...hearing a song and getting it stuck in your head for some time that you end up humming it or maybe even singing it all throughout the rest of the day?I somehow laugh at myself when this happens.

Hi jd107nette. Was there ever a time when you wanted that song to leave your head?

This happens to me all of the time. Espically if it is a new song on the radio or a new music video that is really popular.

That happens to me all the time! What's worse is when it's a song you haven't heard in ages and out of the blue you can't get it out of your head! LOL! The one song that I can't stand is that song by Susan Vega.. the " I was sitting in the morning at the diner on the corner"..now and then I'll call my twin brother and sing it in his voicemail.. he gets so mad because it gets stuck in his head! :)

lol yes, that happens to me a lot. just this morning, as a matter of fact. It was a song from a Strawberry Shortcake movie that the kids were watching. We have a dvd player in our vehicle and the kids often watch movies. One night my husband and I both couldn't get one of the songs out of our heads. I think it was from a Barbie movie, too funny. It does get annoying though when you try and try to get it off your mind and you find yourself humming or singing it again.

I experience this most of the time. Sometimes when I enter a grocery store or a department store, I will hear a song and I will be humming it again and again. Sometimes, when I say or hear someone say a phrase or a sentence that is the same as the lyrics of a certain song, I will be singing that song for the rest of the day or until another song takes over my thoughts! I never thought that as weird or different but when I knew other people experiencing the same thing, I just laugh!

Hi, yes I have experienced this and this make me laugh also. My officemates notice it also and they are smiling at me when they heard me singing and humming the song again and again. I even sang the song i heard the other day, and they said choose other songs. It's quite fun but sometimes I wonder why we do that.
