Hi Mylotties,
This is the discussion about our day to day activities in our life.
Everyday we must all have Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Supper. Apart from these, we also have coffee, tea, soft drinks, hot drinks.
But, had you ever washed your own plates after having Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Supper?

yes, we have to have this habit of cleaning those dirtied dishes after each meal.
i agree with you, nhey, that it pays off to teach our children this habit of cleaning their dirtied dishes right after having eaten. they will be growing up with this good habit of cleaning after themselves. this will be such a load off our shoulders when they have grown up already.
although, as of this moment, i have found that there are times when they would just love to leave them at that at the kitchen sink once in a while. still, the fact that this seldom happens, is already of great help.

Oh don't get me wrong as I am perfectly happy to wash them myself. Having my hands in hot water is a great way of reviving circulation and keeps them soft too
I have never had nor even ever thought of having a dishwasher to do them as I consider it an expensive luxury I can quite do without. I didn't have one in past years when my family was larger and there is absolutely no point now that I am on my own as it would take a week to fill it! I make them dirty and I will wash them quite happily myself with no qualms whatsoever.

Good. But, I like the persons who wash their plates by themselves and also I like the person who doesn't depend upon other person to get his work done.

washing the plates and everything else that i use to dine, is something that i do day in and day out.
i always do this after each meal or snack that i take at home. i always prefer to be eating at home rather than anywhere else, by the way.
whenever i finish my meal, i carry my dirtied dishes to the sink for appropriate cleaning action. whatever dirty dishes that i come across with when i do so, surely get washed, too.
in fact, at most times, i see to it that there are no dirty dishes lying at the kitchen sink before i get to bed each night. i don't believe that it is alright to leave them unattended there until the following morning.

Yep I did used to washing our plates after every meal but now we need a hired help because of each of our own busy schedules. We're hardly ever home anymore but we do eat at home so after eating we go back to work a bit until its just the right time to sleep.

Well sure, I always wash dishes... But most of the time, we use paper plates. They are a whole lot easier, and we can just throw them away.

You have machines to wash all your plates and dishes ah?? Good. Here I do not have such machines. So, I am washing with my hands. But, I am very happy in doing all those works myself. Sometimes, I use to feel lazy to wash those myself.
