do you listen to the same artist over a period of time?

When I listen to a new album from one of my favorite artists, I usually listen to just that cd for like a week or two, because I just feel like if I listen to anything else, I won't be in the mood for it.
So does everyone listen to the same artist over a short period of time before going back to the regular routine of just going through every music you like?

Well, for the most part it depends on my mood. But when I find a New group I really enjoy listening too, or a New CD I just bought a lot of times I find myself listening to that music or CD over and over again until I usually could sing the words to all of the Songs on there as well. Personally even though I do have a lot of selective types of Music, I am one who is prone to letting a CD play over and over until I feel it is time to change it.
