Which is the best blogging site to start a blog?

I have finally decided to start a blog of my own and start adsense. What blogging site do you recommend that I start with? Is there any advantages in choosing this particular site? Do they have blog promotion within the site itself? Thanks in advance...

if your looking for a free and user friendly blogging site, I would suggest Blogger... And if you want an extra income just visit my profile and you will see some banners posted their. Happy mylotting!
