What is the famous food in your region or area?

Hello, I am in the great northwest and huckleberries are the famous food,fruit.Also fry bread but not everybody has tried it.

My place is famous for pizza and pasta! I'm in Italy. I guess you've had pizza too - what's your favorite?

The famous food in my region is also chappati.It is very nutritious for the body.Here many people also eat chinese food.For snacks people over here like to eat vada pav.It is bread in a potato cutlet.I prefer to have it with the tamarind sauce.I too love the tangy taste of tomato ketchup.

In South Africa, we are famous for our barbeques called 'braais'. Our main food for the braai is called 'Boerewors'. It is basically a spiced beef sausage that we cook on the grill - so delicious. We also have pap and gravy. The pap is like a mielie meal porridge. We eat it with a tomato and onion gravy. Most Africans will eat this with their hands. Really tasty!

I stay in west bengal, we are bengalis, and we love bengali food. Bengali food are too delicious. you can have different kind of fishes, different kind of vegetables. Bengalis are fond of Rice and fish. There are many special dishes like "bhetki macher paturi", "chicken kosa", "mutton kosha", "chingri macher malaikari", "dub chingri" etc. There are n numbers of delicious dishes. If anyone planning to come down to east-india shortly, just try bengali food once.. :)

I live in Minnesota, and I honestly can't think of "our" food, although probably something yuckey like pork chops. lol. :( I know that Wisconsin is right next door, and they're famous for their cheese. So, I guess that's my answer. I don't mind cheese.. It can be pretty gross at times, though.

I love roti! I'm in the UK so I think our national dish would have to be fish and chips and the adopted dish is curry

Hi mailtoramesh.. The very famous food in our country Philippines is LECHON or roasted whole pig. For every big event, this food is always part of the menu. Almost all of the Filipinos regard this food as something to look forward for every occassion. It makes each and every one's mouth watery.. YummmY!And i miss it so much..
