Do you drive auto or manual cars? Which do you prefer to drive?
Personally, i prefer auto cars, it makes things so much simpler without a clutch, with just the accelerator and brake, i feel much more focus on the road!
Ok, i understand and i know that people say manual cars have faster acceleration, but i'm not a racer, i drive for the sake of convenience. What shock me is that a friend of mine say that guys should drive manual cars, if not, they are deemed as sissy.. well, i don't care what my friend is possibly thinking.. Im here to say that im a guy who prefers and drives auto cars! =D

Hi, I learned to drive a car with a standard transmision when I was 9 years old.We had a large field so that's where I drove until I was old enough to take drivers ed in junior high school, we could take it at 14 years of age but the cut off date for the birthdate was june 10 so I missed it by 3 days and had to wait until I was 15 the next year.I always had a standard transmission car until my b/f and I bought our latest car and he is not comfortable driving one with a stick shift. Now we have a car with an automatic transmission.

We had a large field so I learned to drive. Some kids could get their license younger than 14 providing there was no adult(parent or grandparent) who could drive. It has changed to 16 years of age now and they are even considering raising it to 18.

I only know how to drive auto. I don't know how to drive manual car. So my answers is I prefer to drive auto and not manual. From what I know, most of my friends drive drive auto and I only knew one of my friends drive manual. I think most of my friends only knew how to drive auto. Also I don't think driving auto is sissy.

Oh my, guess takes lots of practice.. haha, im more of an impatient person here, not only that, with my current scales of changing gears, my friends have been complaining of a jerky ride all the time, haha

I like them both but I think it depends on where yo are driving as to what is more comfortable. If you drive in a high traffic area or an area with a lot of hills and stops..it may be more comfortable to drive an automatic. I don't mind driving a manual though. As a matter of fact..I am considering one now.

I prefer manual cars. Basically, it is so challenging and when you're good at it, u'll drive an auto car very easily. True that auto cars are very comfortable to drive with but I think it gives hard time when it comes on car troubles...
