How many people live in your house?

I used to live in a house with a lot of people because I have a big family. Then came a time when I was alone at home and this was the reason why I devoted myself to writing and reading.
Now, my son was is again back in the city with me. There are only the two of us in the house that is why it is too silent. In order to make a little noise and make the house alive, the television is always on even if nobody is watching.
I love a house with a lot of people. How about you?

In our house, we are nine. Me, two brothers, two sisters, father, mother and two nephews.
Sometimes, most of them go to work so its me and my mom with my newphews. My nephew is all noisy by himself by crying most of the time, if he couldn't get what he wanted.
When it comes to company, I really do like it when there are lots of people at home, doing different things and all that individuality every now and then. (^_^ )

HI!I came from a big family too.And definitely,it was really so happy being with my brothers and sisters, living in just one roof.By the way,I have eight siblings plus my parents,so you could just imagine the everyday scenario at home talking doll here.

In our home it is only my son and myself. But he has lots of friends over here often, so it is never too quiet! I actually enjoyed living alone, and having a quiet home to come to when I was single. I can't imagine what I will feel like now when my son leaves to go to college. I am so used to the hussle and bussle of him and his buddies, that it will seem much too quiet I am sure.

I grew up with alot of people in the house and it was always hard to find your privacy when you wanted it, so I'm the opposite of you, when I got married I moved away and now its just my husband and I, and I like it being just the two of us, its quiet, and I don't have alot of people to argue with..lol.

I was previously staying with my parents and 2 siblings; that makes 5 of us. There was a time when mum took in lodgers (to help with household income), and there were about 6 more people.
Now that I'm married, I stay with my husband alone. I do enjoy the peace and quiet - if I want some noise, I will visit my sister (she has 3 kids) or my parents, who's staying with my brother!

Same with me dear i also belongs to a joint family. We are total 15 members. And all are happy to live each other. there is no problems. In fact it is a great strength of all of us to live to gather. We can share our happiness and sorrows with each other. our family gives us a positive support to face all problems in the life. So enjoy yourself.

We used to be six to seven. Now we are only three. My 3 children have their own family now.I miss kids running around our house. When I'm tired watching T.v. and browsing the computer,I go to my daughter's house to play with my grand children, but I can't stay there for long because they are very active and I'm too weak now.If I could only turn back the hands of time I like to be with them most of the time.when I was younger.

Usually, there are three people living in my house, my father, my mother and I, but the number changes sometimes. Since my university is in a different city, there are only my father and mother in the house during school. My grandma lived in our house during this Spring Festival, so there were four people in this winter vacation.

Four people altogether live in my house as well as two dogs. There's me, my mom, my little brother, and my girlfriend. It's a very nice house and my girlfriend and I plan on moving out as soon as we can get enough saved up to move somewhere where there isn't a lot of snow like the place where we live now.

In my house, there is me, my husband and our baby. Next door we have his mom and dad. And above their house, in another house, is his grandparents. It is nice to have family around. We still have our space because it is 3 separate houses.

All in all we are 6 in the house. It is just my dad, my mom, my grandma, my aunt, a cousin and me. My grandma, my aunt and my cousin used to live in a different house but since my grandma got sick we decided that they should live with us so that if there will be any emergency we can attend to it immediately. It is really fun when there are a lot of people at home. Though there may be misunderstanding at times but it is just normal with life. Happy Mylotting!!!

hello masmasika
there are four of us that live in my family. i have two sons still living at home and then there is myself and my hubby. we also have a pet dog and her name is Doughnut. so if you want to call it five of us you can. lol and sometimes i love it when nobody is home except for myself and other times i cannot stand to be alone. lol it is weird how different my moods can be from time to time like that. and i enjoy reading, and i guess that i also like to write or i wouldn't be here at Mylot writing each day. by the way, do you have any kind of a pet? thanks for sharing.
take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

It depends on the day. Normally, there are 6 of us here each day, and 7 on the weekrnds. Lately, it has been 5 of us, and 6 on wekends. Sometimes, the house is just too noisy for me, and I cannot concentrate on anything. Other times, it is really quiet. I don't mind a bit of noise in the house, that makes it feel alive to me, but I do not like absolute silence, or extremely lous noise all of the time.
When it is just 5 of us, I can usually get quite a bit done, whether it be writing, researching, reading, or cleaning. When there is all 7 of us at home, it seems like there is always a lot going on that distacts me from my work. When it is really quiet, I do pretty good getting things done, but I lose track of time easily.

I live with my daughter now so there are six of us in this house. When I had a place of my own they had to live with me until they could get on their feet. I also had my son and his fiance living with me. So at times we had quite a big family.
