What do you think about the movie "Slumdog Millionaire"?

Have you seen the movie "Slumdog Millionaire". The movie is doing great and has won numerous awards at the Golden Globe and yesterday at the Baftas too. Did you like the movie and the music?
Being an Indian I am a little biased about Mumbai being shown in poor light, but I feel good too that it is receiving such accolades worldwide. How would you rate the movie?

ya...i watched the movie as soon as it was released. I really like the movie. The funniest part of the movie is the scene when the small kid jumps from the "toiled" and he gets covered with sh!t!!! lolzzzz...All the crowds gives him the side and he easily meed the superstar and gets autograph!! lolzzz

True. But, think about it and the craze which India has about their superstars is evident with it. But, still I am not too happy with the scene and I think it's not in the right spirits.

It sure has won a lot of awards at the oscars and the incredible sound track by A.R. Rahman has done wonders to the film. Jai Ho.

It's a great movie. Although not accepted in the correct spirit by many Indians, it's one of the best movies. It's neither a true story but so many people, including celebrities, from India took the movie in the wrong stride and criticized it for showing a wrong image of India. In fact the movie portrays India in a manner very close to reality and it winning the Oscars was a superb.
