Where can i find guitar lessons online??

I bought a giveson acoustic guitar yesterday ..It was a wonderful new experience visiting a music sore with great instruments..But now i don't know how to learn..I am looking for tutors in my proximity but is there a way i can find guitar lessons online??or can i download it from a site or torrents????Please help..

hey you know i think the best choice is try youtube i do it all the time for my piano and guitar lessons :]

Best idea would to be starting off with a guitar teacher, who can give you things to practice and learn as you gather more skill. Eventually you'll get to a point where you can train yourself, and that might come after a year or two. You can find good guitar lessons on sites like ultimate guitar (which also has tab music for almost all commercial songs) but of course, the catch is learning online is you have nobody to correct you when you are doing something wrong, or spotting any bad technique. I hope you enjoy your new guitar and your time with it!
