Great! For The Third Time Around, My Article Was Rejected In Constant Content!

Nice! I just received another lovely rejection letter from the lovely Constant Content! Okay. I'm not trying to sound like I'm proud i got rejected. I'm just in a good mood right now. And thank God for it! I just signed up here a few hours ago and the discussions here got me hooked up. Thanks for this new family! That extremely adorable and lovely rejection letter didn't hit a nerve. (like i said, I'm in a good mood right now!) But the first and second one did hurt me. Sniff. Anyway, I was just wondering, anyone here whose articles got rejected by Constant Content? For those who made it through, any advice? I also heard from other writers that once you're article got rejected for the third time, you won't be allowed to submit again and your account will be closed. Lovely! So looks like I'll have to look for other sites to submit my articles to. What are your thoughts about this? Anyone?

What's their website? I'd like to give it a try and see if I get rejected too. LOL

Well brace yourself then! LOL! Its Constant content.com. Its a pretty good site to submit your articles to and you get paid when someone purchased them. A lot of writers are pulling in nice income from that site. But I didn't thought they would be so picky like that. Well, it's for a good reason though. Most customers are willing to pay for like $30 or more for a single article so it really should be of good quality. But i don't understand, i had my articles proofread by other freelance writers and they said its good and have no mistakes. I don't know about CC, maybe I'll just look for other sites.

I never heard about Constant content before. I am sorry to hear your article was rejected. There's other sites out there to try. Good luck!

Wow! You submitted an article three times. I have tried Constant Content only one time. As my article was rejected, I never tried it and and submitted it elsewhere. I would say that you should avoid disappointment and try to some other sites like AC or other reliable place.

Yeah. CC can be really so picky. I wish i could write at AC but I found out that they only acknowledge writers from U.S for the upfront payments so that left with only the chance to get paid for the performance payment i think, and I'm not sure I'd buy the $1.50 per 1000 page views. I'm on the lookout for other good sites. Maybe I'll try helium or triond for a while and see if it works for me. Anyway, thanks a lot.

I haven't written for Constant Content, but I heard that they are very picky about what they accept and expect perfect grammar and spelling. I've never heard the rumor about kicking you off the third time around. Maybe you just need a new topic or idea, and try again. The good thing about them is that they pay more than the average writing site, but well...you have already learned the bad thing. Still, writers do receive rejection, and I have been rejected on a couple of articles on Associated Content, and they are not even as stringent as Constant Content. I try not to take it personally, and just unload that article to a less picky site and move on to the next. I usually write for Helium because I hate thinking up topics, and they have a million. Also they expect shorter articles. Once you get a sufficient number under your belt, you can start making some good money there. I also write for Associated Content and for Gather, and for Epinions, which can be picky as well. Anyway, keep on writing; don't give up!!!!

haha, maybe I should write a Singish article just to irritate those folks at Constant Content. In English we ask "What are you talking about?" Singish is simpler "What talking you?" See, a 5 worded question is simplified by 40%. The title shall be "The advantages of using Singish"

They really are so picky. They'll reject articles for just having an improper punctuation, or missed a period. Something like that. But i don't understand, i made sure i got it all right, i have good topics and even have them proofread by other freelance writers and told me they're good and have no mistakes. Well, I'll keep on trying. I haven't written for helium yet. I've heard rumors that it was just a waste of time writing there. I'm not sure but I'll still give it a shot. Anyway, thanks a lot.

Helium can seem like a waste of time, and I thought so for the longest time. Then I revisited things, and now it's just working for me. Maybe I'll move on to other things. I think it goes with mood. There are a whole range of writing options online, and Helium, AC, etc. are the baby steps. However, for me, I need to get into the habit of writing every day before I can take on bigger challenges. I feel like if I can get the writing every day thing down pat, then I can work on the more challenging aspects. I am a very uneven writer when it comes to consistency. I think I can write good enough, but I get tripped up by the pressure to write every day or take on complex projects. I don't want to take on more than I can manage, which I have a tendency to do. All of us should strive to our highest level, but it helps to know where your weak and strong points lie.

There are many writing sites where you can submit your articles - Triond, Helium, Bukisa, Associated Content, Newsvine, and others where you can earn money from page views, and at some you can sell your work and get upfront payments too. You need to find the site that is best for your style of writing and what you want to write about. Some people do better at Triond, some at Helium, some at AC. My articles at Helium earn around a dollar every day for me, plus I qualify for upfront payments, and I've sold articles for up to $50 each in the marketplace, where publishers post their assignments. Some writers make nothing at Helium because they don't have the rating and writing required for earning money, so they use another site.

Thanks. I haven't tried writing for helium yet but I'll give it a shot. I guess the rumors about helium being just a waste of time just kept me from writing there. And i can't write at AC because they only pay writers from U.S. Well they pay those from outside US for the performance payment only i think, but I'm not sure I'd buy the $1.50 per 1000 views. I'll also try the other sites you've mentioned. Thanks again.

Know what? I've also written some reviews there and I couldn't agree with you more. That too is another site i don't understand. They claim that they pay $2 for every review but my reviews only got the bulk rate even though i wrote them in my own description as much as possible. Well, they said that's how you'll get paid $2. But i just got 40 cents for my first two reviews. And for the others, well i haven't heard from them since. They didn't paid up. I've submitted like 12 reviews and it's been a month already. But nothing. *Sigh* As if i just stumbled upon that site. I won't write their again. Maybe you should try writing on helium or triond instead.

yep. that's how things go there. at least my experience was. however did you set the payment rate setting to bulk below the compose cell before you submit it? cause if you did it'll sure be priced by their bulk rate. any way same here i will never go back to that site again. and one thing i noticed, i last logged in there last week i noticed that the message board latest postings dated first of jan 09 so i thought no members are really active there.

No i didn't set the bulk rate so i didn't expect getting paid 40 cents for each of my reviews and to think that I've written them just as how it should be. Yeah, noticed that too. It sounds quiet there. Guess members got tired and went to more worthwhile sites though.

I got a nice rejection letter too when I was in high school and it kind of make me feel good that someone took the time to read my article and took the time to reject it nicely. I got the note by mail which is also nice. Cheers!!

I think that it truly depends on the type of site that you are talking about. I think there is a big difference between Mylot, which is a social networking site, and pays you to post and for participation. Mylot is not strict about proofreading and grammar Etc. because this is a networking site. On the other hand, Associated Content, Gather and Helium are article writing sites and so have a higher standard. They expect a magazine quality article, that is well thought out and proofread for spelling and punctuation. That's just been my person experience, and I only write for helium and then I come here for a break from the formal writing and answer a few discussions. Those are the only two sites I focus on and my earnings here are done in my down time from helium. I have made approx $50 per month now and I am considering a blog. Until next time, Happy Mylotting!

I got the first rejection from Constant Content. An article that was submitted to Heliuma and AC and doing quite well in both sites, got kick by Constant Content within 24 hours of submission. Due to the speed of rejection, I guess that they have an inhouse system to filter the article. I doubt CC has the manpower to read through every single article and look for any error. Have you considered using those grammar checker? How are your articles surviving in Helium? I have some articles there as well.

Hello. I've not written an article for constant content since after the third rejection. Lately, I've been trying my hand on other sites like helium and ehow. I haven't had any success with constant content (yet) however, I'm pretty sure it's a great place to pull in neat income from your articles. A lot of freelance writers are making a living out of it. Do check them out if you like. Good luck
