Yes i have a screen filter i use a crt monitor and it really helps(if it is a crt)because when i went to my friends house and used his computer which had no screen filter my eyes got tired within half an hour and and it was sore like hell.I think the brightness of the screen is the problem. When you have a screen it reduces the brightness.

well i don't have a screen filter yet ,i m thinking to bring a screen filter from so long but..due to my busy schedule i m not able to bring that thing, so for my relief i set my monitor in such a way ,i mean i adjust its contrast and brightness at low level ,so that it doesn't harm my eyes that much

In the past when we used CRT monitor, we will use the screen filter. However, nowadays the LCD monitors already take place of the CRT ones. So the screen filters are not useful today. I am not sure whether the screen filter will work well or not. But at least you will feel much comfortable to have it:) I love china

I have both a laptop & a PC. My wife uses the laptop, I use the PC. Only use the laptop when we go travelling or when my PC is off & when I need to use it for a while but lazy to turn on my PC? HahaAnyway, neither has any filtering device but I guess LCDs have less radiation compared to CRT monitors?

I do not have a screen filter for my monitor, but I remember about twenty years ago, when we use the black and white TV sets, we had a plastic covering the TV screen. Interesting to say, the plastic has the upper part in blue, and the lower part in brown, so that they give the impression of sky and ground. Is it clever idea? But soon the black and white sets were replaced by colored ones. Just a by thought, haha. Back the the screen filter, i guess it helps a little, but for long time, even the filter clothing does not work.

I do not have a Screen filter on my Computer, but probably need to consider getting one. Since myLot is white screen it is quite bright and it would be nice to be able to tone it down, but I have never considered getting a Filter yet. I could use my laptop and then would not have to worry about it so much then for sure?

Hello There! Yes, I have a Screen Filter on my monitor at home even at the office for my Desktop computer. I find it very useful in protecting my eyes to be really expose to the monitor of my screen. In my previous work, we don't have screen filters there and it causes my eyes to be blurry and teary as well that is why I always have to change the resolution or brightness of my monitor. lolz. Thank you for the discussions! Happy Mylotting and Have a great day ahead! cheers!

Hi there. I don't have a screen filter for either my PC (we have an LCD monitor) or my laptop, but I've been thinking of getting one of those screen film things for my laptop that act both as a screen filter and keep nosy people from being able to peer at my screen in the office. I think getting a filter is a good idea, especially considering that my eyesight seems to be getting worse from having to work in from of the computer for more than 14 hours a day.
