I just want to ask your opinion about this one. I know he knocked Vic Darchinyan out but after that he has been on a very slow path unlike Darchinyan who he knocked out but recovered fast, moved up in weigt, holds 3 superflyweight belts (WBA, WBC, IBF), beat Jorge Arce recentl and has the chance to do something rare in boxing which is to unify all 4 belts in a single division if he fights and beats WBO champ Fernando Montiel. The only thing Donaire did afeter their fight was 2 fights and the las one ended thru a TKO because the guy got cut but if you ask me if not for that his opponent had a chance against him. So what do you think?

I'm pretty skeptical about his potential but i think it's too early too tell. I think he only fought twice after the Darchinyan fight. His opponent after the Darchinyan fight was the clear loser. I think Donaire beat the crap out of him. His second fight after Darchinyan was pretty cloudy. I don't know if he can keep up with Mthalane if the fight will be pushed to 12 rounds. His opponent was a good body puncher. I think he needs more quality fights like two or three times a year.

Nope, Nonito Donair is the "Filipino Flash", Bernabe Concepcion is the "REAL DEAL" hahaha. Kidding aside, Darchinyan may have been a bit too cocky in the first fight, but his punches will always give anybody something to think about, even Donaire in a rematch.
