After Saturdays house show in Victoria BC WWE wrestler Chris Jericho punched a woman during an altercation at his vehicle. In the video on you tube fans are seen crowding Jericho asking for pictures and autographs. Jericho is reported to make a racial slur at the woman's boyfriend to which she spits on him (this is seen on video). Jericho then leaps from his SUV and punches the woman in the face knocking her to the ground. He then proceeds to yell at the security around him to do their @$#^*%@#$ jobs as he gets back in his car and leaves. The following day the woman and her boyfriend where arrested. Jericho appeared at least twice on Monday night Raw. My question is why was he not arrested, why is he on t.v. 2 nights later. Arrested or not WWE should have at least pulled him from the line up on Raw until things could be sorted out. What a slap in the face of Vancouver Island fans that he can come here and assault a resident and appear in t.v. like nothing happened. I think it is garbage that he is getting away with this. She was arrested for her end of the assault why was he allowed to walk free with out even being questioned in the matter. There is video proof that he hit her. Thank goodness we decided not to take your son like we had planed on doing, most definitely a heal push for Jericho but a big loss I think for the WWE. Even my son is up set with it. Ok, for the sake of discussion, how do you feel about Jericho punching a female fan in the face and walking away? Do you think WWE should have pulled him form the line up on RAW? Should he be charged with assault as is very clear on the video?

I agree with you on all three points, even though he was provoked, because it was he who made the first comments about the boyfriend. Moreover, once the woman had spat on him, he should have turned a blind eye. He should definitely not behave the way he did, especially in front of a hoard of fans. Yes, he should have been arrested; yes, he should have been pulled from the show; and yes, he should have been charged for assault with intention to cause grievous bodily harm. He's not God... come to that, he's not even human... he's an animal of the most aggressive kind. They should throw the book at him and if I were the WWE, he would be suspended from the wrestling ciruit for at least six months, with loss of earnings.
It was probably show biz hype, but there's no excuse for that sort of behaviour. Brightest Blessings, my friend.

Hello my friend, I at first thought it was show biz hype. The WWE does put on that fans attack wrestlers or the other way around all the time as a way to push a wrestler into being a heal or introduce a new wrestler. But it is usually what they call independent wrestlers they use. I actually went to you tube to see the video thinking that was what was going on but this was not the case. My husband and oldest son are wrestling fans, it is not my thing. For me if I am watching a fight it has to be the real deal, MMA or UFC is my thing. I find it horrible that Jericho has done this. I am not normally one for the whole men don't hit women, I am a martial artist and I fight men regularly but that was sick. Thanks for the response. Brightest Blessings to you also, take real good care.

Hi honey, I am glad that others agree with me on this. I think it is very sad that he was not picked up for it.
Good to see you here also. Now that my schooling is over for a little while I am hoping to get back into a few things I like to do. Hugs to you and your little guy.
