I've been a mylot member for about a year now and I am surprised to see that after all this time my total earnings are $3.65. Now I'm not here for the money. Honestly a lot of time I come here to get an answer to a something I'm wondering about, or because I'm bored and want to interact online, but still.....$3.65 in a year. I see so many mylot discussion about how much money ypu can make on here and I wonder how much does a person have to be on mylot to make money. It has to be a lot.... I mean a lot..... I mean a whole bunch because I just don't see how else and to be honest I don't have that much time to be on mylot or anywhere else online for that matter. Maybe it doesn't help that the discussions I start are 2 or 3 liners, but that's the thing sometimes I want to find out what other people think and it doesn't take a long paragraph to ask a question. I really don't have a point to this discussion except to express how shcocked I am that after a year I barely have 3 bucks and change.

Well, most of us have learned over time that if you are wanting to earn $$ here there are a lot of factors that seem to go into this as well. Starting New discussions can help, but you need to take time to go in and respond back to others here as well. If you are interested in wanting to earn enough to be able to cash out you will have to be more active that you are in here for now. Many here have learned posting back to at least 30 New discussions a day will give you enough to reach payout and increase your chances of making New friends in here as well.
No, no one here can honestly give you the sure all for earnings, but what a lot of us have learned in here are just tips we can offer to others that will often help improve your chances of earned in here as well.

30 new discussions a day? Really. Wow that's a lot. I'll respond maybe about 5 responses 1 a week or so. Uusally if I start a discussion it will be after I responded to someone else's discussion. This makes it even I think. I'm not sure. its not as easy for me to use this site either as it is at Gather. If mylot and Gather combined I think it would be a great site.

You either need to have a lot of active referrals or you need to do a lot of responses. I have been paid twice and I have around 1500 posts. I am not in it for the money either though I will admit if I wasn't earning anything I wouldn't be here nearly as much. I do like the fact that they pay something even if it isn't a great deal because most places don't. Anything I can make messing around on the computer seems good to me. You are right though you do need to do a lot, a lot of posts.
