I had a opportunity to camp in National Glacier park in U.S.for three days. That was my first camping.I went there with my family members. We had a nice time there.Daily we hiked to some tourist spots and enjoyed the beauty of the forest with its tall trees, animals, waterfalls, streams, hills etc..etc.. It was a thrilling experience to be in forest for three days.We were free from the polluted air, noise etc for three days.We were completely refreshed and rejuvenated. The Government has made a elaborate arrangements for our safety and comfort in the forest. During our stay we came across some wild bears.Of course we saw them from our cars only. What is your experience in camping?Did you like it?Happy mylotting

I would love to go camping in Glacier. Camping is one of my favorite activities, and I love forests. I esp. like camping on Mount Ranier! So much to see, easy to get up to snow, beautiful rivers, and tons of trees!

being one with nature is the best thing that happens to us when we go camping. so i have quite a few farms going. there are trees there, animals and wild birds, plants and the natural grass growing. it really feels good to be one with nature. i love to linger around at the rivers. they are serene, clean and pure. it gives a feeling of inner peace which cannot be mine anywhere else.

definitely, camping is a good experience to have. however, i never venture on camping to places that i hardly know of. it is good that in the states, the government has exerted good efforts at making and maintaining good campsites. from where i am, i just visit the farm which shall i fancy the most for the moment. so, it will not be camping but, it is very near to that. actually, i do this quite often. i love the country. it is all fresh there. the air, the food, the surroundings...they are all great, crisp and good for our health.

Hi trinidavelasco Our country is also rich with bog forests and mountains. But they are not taken care of by the government to make it a safe camping place Happy mylotting

Your camping trip sounded really enjoyable when I read about it. I must have been really exciting to see the bears and it was lucky that you were safe inside your car at that time. It is always bliss to be without polluted air and city noise. I really love camping and last summer went on a camping trip to a site in a rural area near the sea. I had my two dogs with me and I had such a great time without the usual worry when I am away that they are missing me. I have done some interesting camping in Australia. One time I did it alone at an island national park. Where I stayed had a bush toilet and water I had to get from a creek. I also camped with friends in a woody area. There were many insects. I loved camping in New Zealand along two superb walking tracks.

Hi there maxi, I'm jealous now. Australlia, and New Zealand are on my wish list of places to visit someday. I just think they would be beautiful, at least they are in pictures anyway! It would be a long trip for me though because I live in Canada. But, I can always dream can't I? Until next time, Happy Mylotting!

Yes, I do love camping. Here in the Philippines there is not much of a forest but there are a lot of areas where we can go camping. Usually I go camping with my friends. I also have my own tent, portable stove, sleeping bag. Well, what can I say, I love nature.

I would really enjoy camping at the forest, provided we're many aside from my family members. Would surely appreciate the beauty of nature. The fresh air, the green trees, the cold water from the falls and streams, the wild animals, flowers and fruits, wow what a thrilling experience. What I only experience was the camping of the Girls Scouts but had experience already going to the forest with some family members and friends.

I used to like to go camping in the forest when I was a lot younger but camping now is very hard on these old bones it was fun though when I was younger. However I have a better thing now. I live surrounded by forest and see Moose, deer, cougar, bear, and many other types of wildlife often. I live in the mountains where a cold clear creek winds through the trees. It is beautiful and peaceful. The air is clean and refreshing all the time. It is awesome seeing the seasons come each bringing new things. Spring has new flowers, and song birds return. Summer has new baby birds and later flowers and fawns. Autumn the leaves change color and it is beautiful and winter brings its own beauty with snow covered trees and pure snow and fun sledding and building snowmen.

I love camping and we used to go every weekend when I was a little girl. We never had a tent just would sleep under the stars in sleeping bags and then wake up and go hiking all day and plus my dad was a professional spelunker so we were always going into caves and mapping them.

I'm glad you found it enjoyable! I will be experiencing my first camping trip next month and am a bit apprehensive. I've never done it before although we will be going in a group and have some company. We, however are doing it close to home (in the Florida Everglades) so I don't think I have to worry about bears, just about gators.

Well, I have never camped in a forest before, but I would love to. The forest that you are talking about sounds very secure and safe. My dreams of going camping were diminished. After seeing so many people get hurt or die I was scared to go camping. But still another side of me would love to still seek out this adventure. I would love some peace right about now. If I go, I will want to be well prepared. I will make sure that I bring a group of people with me. Say about 7 members. I think that this would be fun, just as long as I stay on the dry grounds.. I am glad that you enjoyed your trip to the forest!

yes, I do love camping. I have been camping since my teen years. I love camping on the forest where we can have our hike and do some exciting activities there. Much more if the forest is near the lake or river? that would be fun because we have water activity. Like crossing the river using rope, and boiling egg on a floating raft. That is very exciting. I have so many experiences about camp activities. Like crossing a monkey bridge, making camp bread etc. I really love camping. I can be in a camp site for a week or so and I love it.

When I was younger my family would go camping all the time. It's much cheaper than staying in a hotel, and it's a lot of fun. I actually haven't been camping in about 6 years, which is dissapointing. Maybe I can go for a bit after I graduate from college...

Hi there muru, Well, I grew up in the country and so I am familiar with the quiet and peace that you are referring to. Yes, I hate to admit it but, I think my mom was right I do miss it sometimes. I now live in the city because I use a wheelchair and so having everything close by is easier and having access to services is much better etc. But, I love to be outside and like you I find being outside in nature very relaxing and refreshing. Right now it is the middle of winter and I am somewhat hibernating as it's difficult to get out and around with all of the ice and snow that is covering the sidewalks. Once the snow is gone however, I have a yellow labrador retriever named Zena and we will be outside all the time when the weather's nice. Sometimes I take a book and go down by the lake or sometimes I take my writing and she sits and watches as the people and everything go by while I simply write or do my things... I am lucky in a lots of ways because I have the free time to spend outside doing things I enjoy. Now you have me wishing for Spring... Soon it will be here and I can get outside again.... Happy Mylotting!

I love camping, in fact during the spring and summer months, my husband and I go camping with our children almost every single weekend. I love the outdoors, I love the solitude that it gives us and most times I just love getting out of the city. I think the thing that I like most about camping is that I get to use my quad, I love adventure and my husband and I have passed our love along to our children who also love the outdoors and camping. I can't wait for winter to be over so that we can go again.

I go camping in the forest at least once a year. I always hope to catch a glimpse of the elusive big foot. I keep my camera handy just in case. I don't worry about the bears and wolves. My biggest fear in the forest is getting lost. I've been lost before and I was lucky that time. I don't think I'll be as lucky the next time.

I have had a pretty good experience camping. I totally agree with the fresh air thing, it's so relaxing when you're away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. The campsites we usually go to aren't exactly very far off from civilization, but it's definitely more isolated than what I'm used to. But I really like it, it's very relaxing

I have no opportunity so far but perhaps I will give it a try when there is a suitable time to do so. The things that worry me is the wild animal. I am just afraid that when we camp in a forest, there will be wild animal that sometimes can attack us. I think it is quite risky to camp in a forest but I want to feel the fun of doing so.
