Not to offend you but why would you want to get pregnant if you just had an abortion? The point of an abortion is to NOT have your baby and now you have changed your mind? I really don't know how long you should wait because I have never had one and never would, just my opinion tho.

There are various reasons why a woman has an abortion....I mean my reason for having one wont be the same as hers or anyone elses BUT that said, I am curious myself as to why she would want to get preg right after an abortion...

in my language abortion is used for three versions: the wanted one, the spontanious one and the therapeuticaly. why did you think that is a wanted one?i didn't mention anything about this, maybe is my fault i didn't.i am against abortion as a wanted act.

First of all Andre, let me apoligize for some of the responses that you have been getting to this discussion. I think that we're having a difficulty with our use of English. I understand that medically the term abortion refers to all three types of abortions. Wanted, spontanious and medically induced. Here in North America we use the term miscarriage for a spontanious abortion and abortion for a wanted termination of a pregnancy. It seems that many of us thought that you had a wanted termination of a pregnancy (or abortion) and then changed your mind and decided to get pregnant again. Since you also said that you disagree with abortion, perhaps you can see why people were upset. I personally believe that a spontanious abortion is nature's way of dealing with a pregnancy that wasn't meant to be, for whatever reason. That feteus was not healthy and needed to leave. I would certianly consult a doctor, but, I believe you can try having another baby as soon as you feel well enough both physically and emotionally. I think that if it is meant to be, it will happen and your body will be able to handle it. If your body is not ready for pregnancy you won't be able to get pregnant. Pregnancy is a natural occurance so as long as you are ready emotionally to try for another baby, I think your body will do the rest. That of course is just my opinion, but, I wish you all the best and until next time, Happy Mylotting!

Realistically, the only person who can give you an accurate answer FOR YOU is your doctor.....and I would honestly just ask him/her so you dont go an do somethign that could cause issues whether mentally or physically etc...

I guess its hard to say since there seems to be some confusion as to what your situation is ya know...regardless of what type of loss it was the fact remains though that MEDICALLY and PHYSICALLY speaking the ONLY person who could give you a good answer is your doc...As far as MENTALLY and EMOTIONALLY speaking goes it really would depend on the circumstances behind it all ya know..I know that I had an abortion done by choice and WANTED to get preg right away BUT emotionally and mentally it would have been a very bad idea for myself, my husband and my two kids ya know...PLUS in my case physically it probably wouldnt have been wise either for other reasons.....

One lady on a web site I go on had her 20 week scan on Tuesday last week and found out the devastating news that her baby has neural tube defects. She decided to have an abortion and had it yesterday. So I imagine that she will try to get pregnant again when she feels she is ready. Until that time she will use birth control I imagine. She might feel read to try to get pregnant in three months or six months quite possibly. One month might be too little time for her body to recover.

I see that you suffered a miscarriage. Some people might have imagined that you had an abortion. I think that you could get pregnant again now as long as your bod is ready for it. Otherwise waiting three months might be a wise idea. Good luck.

i think you should wait maximum time u can, coz its dangerous to carry a baby in weak body, you can take the advice of a doctor, he wil give you the best option, and you have to careful next time also.
