do i have to insist the topic of my hubby's mother?

When i was pregnant, everything was perfect until i gave birth. We thought everything was fine and smooth until the day we went back to our house. My mother-in-law got into a lot of troubles in debt. So people come to see us in our house for the payment which we never thought my Mother in law would do. We had no choice we payed for all her debts in exchange of taking care of our baby as a come back to work. But we never thought that he would decieved us by not paying all the money that we handed her for her debts. So, my hubby got mad and my Mother in law even pawn our house to someone without our knowledge. I tried talking to my hubby if he can still forgive his mom, he never wanted to talked bout it nor hear what's been goin on to her mom. its been 4 mths since we last saw his mom. Right now, I dont know whether it is right to convince him to forgive his mother or even invite her to our baby's 1st bday on june.
