which is best, Desktop computer or laptop....?

hiya i prefer a laptop if am honest as me and my wife have our home based business and its easier to use laptop and sit in the garden or in the jacquzi etc etc with a desktop you are limited to where you can go. Tho desktops seem to be abit more powerful for games etc etc.

I hate to pick between the two but I have to say the desktop is first choice. For one reason I do mostly work on my computer and I need the power of my desktop. I can open the case and add a hard drive anytime or more ram, video card, etc. It is not so convenient and easy to do this with your laptop. Also I have several periphials that I frequently use counting 2 different printers. For work I need all this. I even like my traditional desk. I have one of those huge desk you sit behind with plenty of space on top. I actually have 2 separate computers running on the one desk. Gotta love the laptop but I want it to be as fast as I can get it with plenty of hard drive cause I hate to go inside a laptop. If you gotta be on the go then I grab it up but it takes me longer to do the same things that I do on the desktop. But; don't get me wrong, the laptop is a lifesaver when you gotta do business on the go.

My preference is laptop,beacause we can take that with overselves anywhere we go, and also its easy to handle Nowadays using laptop is like advancing social status of one person. so everyone is wish to buy laptop than Personal computer

One can't say which is the best. It actually depends on the type of the use. If you are a kind of person who likes to travel and carry your computer for most of the times, you have to choose the laptop definitely. Otherwise, desktop is the best. It is cheaper compare to laptop, performance will be very high and maintenance charges are low compare to laptop. So it depends on the purpose and type of use, which tells a person to choose which is the best.

I always prefer desktop because i think it is better than laptop.

Desktop where i can run it on for 3 days continuously i wont get a problem. Where i can download as much as i can without worries since i have 2 spacious drives. Although in laptop its portable, you can carry it everywhere, use it everywhere but with limitations in terms of disk space and power generation.

I like to use the desktop computer because it is more powerful than a laptop but I would prefer laptops because it is so handy, you can go with it anywhere, it has built in wifi connection, it also has great processing speed depending on the specs of your laptop, easy to use and most of all... It's really cool when you are bringing a laptop because it makes you look smart. Hehehehe....
