What is your favorite TV series? Why

Hi. Are you fond in watching TV series? Eating snacks while waiting for your favorite TV series or perhaps watching it over the net or purchasing DVD of it.
For me I have watch so many TV series like Smallville , Prisonbreak , Charmed , Lois and Clark , Heroes etc. etc. etc.
But until now I can't figure out for myself what would be the best TV series for me. They are all great if you could think of it. Having different story lines for us to have different points of view while watching it.
How bout you? Share your opinion and knowledge and help me out on how to figure the best TV series to be my favorite.

I like House. House's personality, and those of his coworkers are great. I also love medical dramas, which the show is. It is perfect for me.

Haha House MD. I just finished watching season 4 last week. With his teams. House is so funny. Watching him doing his actions on how he handle his patients. Hahaha. He has new set of teams

House M.D is by far one of the best shows on TV right now, it is the only TV show that I have seen every episode of :)

As aforementioned (but now extended on) House M.D is my favourite TV series so far. House's personality and all the general humour injected into the show just makes it insurmountable in my opinion. It also has plenty of great twists in it and the end of every season is always really well done and leaves you craving more. From his dealings with Edward Vogler to Detective Twitter, House has never failed to make me laugh. I have seen every single episode of House, right up to the end of the Fifth season and I own all of the dvds (including the 5th Season which I got in Bali!).
Another great show is Supernatural, but you have to watch all of them to get the real idea of what is going on. I own all the seasons but I have not watched them all as of yet. So I am still a little stumped by the episodes in the latest season (which has not finished airing in Australia).
And I must end my list with Top Gear, one of the funniest shows on Tv. Watching them drop Ute's from cranes to racing through shopping centers. Very entertaining!

I personally like to watch House, Flashpoint, Big Love and Law and Order SVU. I am also a big fan of the crime shows myself. I have not watched the shows that you have listed as they just do not seem to interest me. I own the DVD's of three of my favorite series. I like to watch them in order and sometimes can not watch them on T.V.

Uhm. First of all thanks for the comment. I see that you have no interest in other shows except the shows that you have mentioned. All of us people have different perceptions and points of view of what we like in a movie. But sometimes a show can even blind us. At first showing us and giving us time not to be interested in them but when we take a closer look at that movie it will become interesting. Like for example in prisonbreak. At season 1 i thought for myself that the story was all about the inmates bullying one another. But after I watched this series more often I got interested in it. God Bless to you and take care!!!

LOST. I have finished season 3. This series has full of twists. Imagine being trap in an Island of experiments.

My favorite TV series is Heroes. Great story, every power there is always has big responsibilities. From this story, tells about the power you may have it and using it with very wise.

Heroes is a good TV series to. Having super powers like X-MEN heheh. The Petrelli Family. But what happened in season 3 is a bit disappointing for me. But maybe it will come to a new twist in season 4.

Although I dont watch many TV series I do have a couple of favourites.
I love Family Guy and American Dad for laughs and easy watching. Friends is a classic favourite, and I even love Spongebob Squarepants!
But my all time favourite series is 24. This TV series in a word is addictive. With every episode left on a cliff-hanger its impossible to not watch the next. I first heard about this when my dad got into the first series. I rememember lying in bed hearing him every sunday night when the episode ended screaming 'Nooooooooo' cos he had to wait a whole week for the next one. I couldn't believe TV could do that, until of course I watched it. I have to admit i've stayed up till 3 or 4am watching episode after episode before. And the later series never disappoint either, there are so many twists and unexpected events.
Anyway, 24 is top of my list. Absolutely awesome.
