How to earn with helium?

I just joined Helium, so I don't know what to expect quite yet, but I was wondering why one person --i can't recall the name, because I can no longer see it -- said you should post ten articles . . .

I just joined Helium and submitted my "first born" article today. Not sure how it worked yet. Seems like a long long way to minimum payout.

i dont like that site ,too much labour but earning very less i wrote 4 articles but i earned only 2 cents ,i can't understand their policy.

Thanks cvvarun for the info. I wasn't aware that you now get paid for every article you write. I thought you still only got paid based on the number of page views your articles got. I will check back in with them and maybe start writing for them again. Right now I submit articles for Associated Content. The pay isn't really high, but at least I was getting something for everything I submitted. Any extra money I can generate for my family is a blessing.

I have been with Helium for the past 3 years and am not to happy with them. I have earned hardly anthing with them. I joined another site in December and have earned more with them in the past two months than I have earned with Helium in the past 3 years. They changed their policies recently so I'm not sure how it works now. I haven't written for Helium in a while.
