Souds fresh to you? The more often talked are women abuse, child abuse, senior abuse, but male abuse seems to be ignored by us. Men in their 20s are just as likely abused by their partners as women. 6.4% men between 20 and 24 in England and Wales claim they were victims over last year.
In the UK, there are about 500 refuges for women victims but only 12 for men.
The official definition for partner abuse includes non-physical forms like emotional bullying ( such as verbal humiliating ), it also mean more serious behavior like threats and severe force.

Hopefully you won't ever be abused braver1987, but don't bet all your chips on it.
It doesn't really matter how big and strong you are. Any little miss may be quite capable of attempting to adjust your attitude by blindsiding you with the proverbial frying pan to your skull. And often the first time a woman abuses a man it's also the last time because she kills him!
I used to work for a police department and so I am one of those who knows for certain that this is a problem that is overlooked, underfunded and not treated with the seriousness it deserves.
