After reading your original post it is lovely to read and respond to your update. Some ladies have an ultrasound that is designed to check for Down Syndrome at 11 to 13 weeks pregnancy. Some experts doing the scan can tell if the baby is a boy or a girl. It is difficult to be sure because the body parts looked at are similar at that time. I know a clinic that can do a gender scan as earl as 16 weeks. I went to them at 16 to 17 weeks and they told me I was expecting a boy. They were right later scans confirmed that and when my baby was born he was a boy. He is now a happy little 20 month old. The 20 week scan can often reveal the gender but mistakes can be made. Soon you will be able to determine your baby's gender. Take care.

Hi stacy, glad to hear that you've finally clarified it. Yeah, my doctor told me that if she is unsure about the gender of the baby, she would not tell the pregnant ladies, otherwise it may bring not so good effect to the mothers-to-be and the families too after they have certain expectation.
