This is my third Laptop and I have owned Acer laptops all my life.. I always have Acer ones because they are good, as Acer is No 1 laptop Brand in europe, and they are sturdy and good and last but not the least they are the cheapest one available in India.
So which laptop do you have? and are you satisfied with ur laptop?

I have a laptop I use for school and home. It is a HP Pavilion, it's an okay laptop. I been having trouble with HP computers for a very long time but I don't know why I still keep buying them.
Acer computer are becoming popular in the area where I live. I should start looking into those more and stop using HP.

I have two laptops the first I bought was an LG and it is the best laptop in my opinion. It's been in the hands of the biggest computer dummy in the whole world "ME" and that has been for about 10 years now. I bought a new Acer two years ago and I like it there's no doubt it's a good computer but I still prefer my old LG.

My first laptop was an HP Pavillion and now this one is an Acer. I like it alot. I am pretty satisfied with it. I got it for Christmas. I was worried because it only has 2GB but so far it has been fine. I wanted 4GB because I figured it would work better for me but I love the one I have. My SO who bought it for me said that I should just tie it around my neck because I am always on it.

I have a Toshiba Satellite and I am very happy with it. I bought it last year and it took returning 3 laptops in a month before I found one that I am satisfied with.
I originally bought a well known brand that is well known for good quality computers; the first one I returned because when I took it out of the box there were dents and scratches all over it. The second one had a problem with the touch buttons and the third wouldn't play DVDs without freezing. I switched to Toshiba in the end and Halleluiah! Success!

I don't own a laptop but my husband had one before it was lost in the airport. He is an Apple fanatic and he said that they are the best computer provider in the world. And I agree to that. We have Toshiba Notebook today but it just came from the company he works with and it is not yet owned (I hope the company will permanently give it to him hehe.)

My first computer years ago was an Acer and I have owned Acers since then. I am well pleased with the Acer brand and the only two brand to compare with it is Dell and Gateway.
Those are just my personal favorites; there are plenty of other good brands such as Toshiba. The only computer brand I really don't like is Hewlitt Packard. They seen to have a lot of compatibility issues with software.

I have owned both Acer and HP but by far the one that has lasted me the longest is the HP. The Acer laptop I owned had a problem with over heating and made many system dumps so I stopped using them. My HP is a tablet and has lasted me for over a year. It is great because I can write on it for school.

hi there.
I had 3 laptops now, the first one was Dell, thats good, but a little heavy. the second was ACER, it was easily broke, and made me repaired twice. I did not like that brand very much. the newest one is IBM, from China. It is working well! It is small and light that easy to bring in my travel. Most important thing is the IBM is strong enough for me :D It is living even I always dropped my laptop. LOL

My son right now has an ACer , and loves it. He had a Dell laptop and had so much trouble with it that he finally had us send it back. Now he has had an Acer for a little over a year and has had no problems with it at all.

I'm on my second laptop, and bought it last year. My first laptop was a HP, and it lasted for six years. Now, I'm using a pink Sony Vaio. :-) I loved HP, but it was too pricey this time around. I managed to luck out with my first one and got a good deal. I love this new one, too, and hope it lasts as long as my first one did (or longer).

I like IBM and Toshiba.I travel a lot and some of the laptops you can't get fixed in some of the places.but with IBM and Toshiba the people that sell them will fix them.not so with some of the other brands.they are also very trough.i put mine to the test as it is.some brands have to send them back to the factory to get them fixed and you louse all the data.I can't do that because i use it for work.

Hi, agrim.
I have an Acer laptop too. I am surprised that Acer is no. 1 laptop brand in Europe but is this really true? There is a jargon in my country, Indonesia, that Acer stands for "Awas cepat rusak" meaning that "easy-to-spoil" laptop. I had that impression during my first three years of using the laptop. But luckily, after three years, it seems to be so stable. I am not sure whether I got the defective product from the manufacturer during the time I bought the laptop.
