I completely agree, you should wait until after you have given birth...the babies are more important right now than losing the weight, and trust me, I have been there.... my baby girl just turned 1 last month, and I spent a good amount of my summer last year dieting and excercising and lost 25 lbs... but that was after my 3 months of rest and recoup.. I know I was in a hurry to lose it too... but the body needs the rest after such a experience.
good luck to you and take care of yourself!!

I think that it is important to exercise in moderation when you are pregnant. I used to make it a point to walk a lot while I was pregnant. I would also try to watch what I ate. I never did anything to harm my kids, and never would. I walked a lot, and not only did that help me be able to lose weight more easily after my kids were born, it also made delivery much easier on my body. I watched what I ate, and did not eat a lot of junk food, I craved salad a lot! I would suggest not going on any diets right now, but moderate exercise and watching what you eat are okay. Before doing anything, you may want to talk to your doctor. He/She may have a few suggestions for you too.

obviously extreem dieting would be a no no, but there is absolutely no reason to eat a healthy balanced diet and exercise, just make sure that your exercise is prctical and seek medical advice first. You can lose a few pounds while pregnant, as long as the babies are getting everything they need.
Good luck with the pregnacy and birth, twins, how wonderful :) On my personal note, i've taken each of my pregnancies to enjoy what i want when i want lol and dealt with the excess after, believe me with twins i doubt you'll have to worry too much about getting the weight off, you'll be a very busy lady!

Well I wouldn't "diet", however you do need a establish a healthy eating plan where both you and your babies will get the calories and nourishment needed to have a healthy pregnancy. Some moderate exercise like walking you might be able to do, but you need to check everything out first with your doctor. He alone can advise you as to how to proceed.
