What is your favorite movie? Why? What was your favorite part? Is the movie new or old?

My favourite is Akira Kurosawa's 'Seven Samurai', although both 'Yojimbo' and 'Sanjuro' come close second. It's a pretty old film, very much a homage to the Western genre, and one that's been remade as such (The Magnificent Seven) and in other genres, too (Battle Beyond The Stars, for one). It's magnificent: every aspect of the human animal is covered. Direction is superb, camerawork is astounding and both the acting and story are brilliant. I watch it quite regularly (did just that yesterday, in fact).
On a more modern note, I have a very soft spot for 'Leon' ('The Professional' in the US), partly because Jean Reno is an absolutely wonderful actor, partly because Natalie Portman was utterly incredible in her first role and partly because it's just such a darned cool film. The director's cut is essential viewing.
Then again, my list of favourite films is very, very long. Those are just two at the top!

My all time favorite movies are "you ot served" and "honey".Both of them are dance movies which is also the reason i like those movies.I love dancing."you got served" give me much enthusiasm and makes ma mind to get ready for any competition and i just love that. The main part like in both the movies is the climax. They are simply superb.Wherever i go and participate in competitions,i remember those climax scenes and they are completely out of ma reach and very encouraging movies for me

whoa, you want one favorite out of all the good movies out there! I am a big movie buff that's one of the reasons they call me the cableman. I especially like Clint Eastwood and the newer made western but I still like action and drama movies. I think I can work on picking out the best part first even though that probably doesn't make sense yet.
I like the gunplay parts in the westerns; especially tricks with the pistols. The first one that comes to mind is where Clint Eastwood has a pistol in each hand by the barrel and while he is being held at close gunpoint he flips them around and shoots down two bad guys.
I guess that answers that. The scene is from the movie "Outlaw Josey Wales". I still have a hard time saying that is my all time favorite movie because there are so many other exceptional movies and actors and actresses out there, but it stands out in my mind.
