Do you have a Cricut? Do you love it?

I have a Cricut just the regular one not the Cricut expressions. I do love it. It is really neat. Although, I have to admit it is not quite as smart as all the infomercials say that it is. There are times when it could cut stuff and it says that there is not enough room. But I love it. I got mine for my birthday last year and I cried so much. I thought it was a printer. I cried and cried and Brad finally said "If you don't want to use it I'll take it back." So I opened it and got to work.

What a cute story! I don't have a Cricut, but I have easy access to acouple through my friends. I like using theirs from time to time. It seems to work most of the time. We had to do some experimenting with thicker paper and other speciality paper didn't cut very well. It is very cool. I just don't like the fact of having to buy the cartiages for it. That's why I am holding out for the Wishblade.

Wishblade is made by Xyon, and it is a like a printer, excepts it cuts instead. It hooks directly into your computer and you can use any true type font with it. Therefore, you do not need to buy cartridges. Of course, because of this, it's more expensive, around $500.

i just bought mine like 3 days ago. i havent done any pages yet but i have cut a few things just tring it out. i am a beginner in scrapbooking and have no idea what all kind of tools i need to make pretty stuff. but hopefully ill learn. i really love it so far. the cartridges are so expensive but i guess as long as you use them then you are getting your moneys worth. it sure is better than having to cut the shapes and stuff yourself..

The cartridges can be expensive but you can get good deals on them. Go to www.ohmycrafts.com and they have SELECT catridges on sale right now for 4cartridges for $99 and 4cartridges for $125. Have a great day.

I don't have one of those...but it is on my dream list lol. Interesting to note that you say it doesn't work as good as the infomercial says it does. I have seen the infomercial on it and I thought it would be a useful tool to have. Will have to do some checking out, I guess I didn't know there was a regular one and an 'expressions' one. Wonder what the difference is between them?! Have to laugh, I never watch infomercials, but this one had me intrigued with their demonstrations and what they were showing it could do. After reading what some of the other posters were saying, I was surprised that those cartridges cost so much...you'd have to do a whole lot of the same thing in your scrapbooking to make it pay I guess. Gee, that was a really nice present for a birthday!!

Ahhhhhhh, so that's the difference. The expressions sure can handle a lot bigger cutting projects. I can see where that would be handier for layouts on those larger sized scrapbooking pages. Thanks, I was wondering about that :-)

The difference between the regular Cricut and Cricut Expression is that the Cricut cuts 6x12 and the Cricut Expression cuts 12x24. And the regular Cricut is about $200.00 and the Cricut Expression is about $300.00.

Hi!
I dont have one either. I have thought they looked fun but for the cost, I just couldnt think that I would use it all that much.
I have a friend who recently got one and decorated bags for a birthday party and also for a church event. She said it was really a time saver if you have so many of something to cut out. I can see that and she is a teacher so that would make it more practical.

I don't have one, but I have used my daughter's when I went to visit her. I love it for a lot of my scrapbooking layouts. It is so fun to use, and so easy. And since I'll be living with her for a while....I'll be putting it to good use! lol She has used it to make posters and party decorations and favors. We both make greeting cards and it really comes in handy for that.

I have a Cricut Expression I just recently got for my birthday from my mother and I love it. I haven't been able to stop using it. Everyday I come up with new ideas of what to make people for presents and of course stuff for me as well.
