if i'm in your situation, i would have a heart to heart talk with my father. let him know my feeling about the whole thing and tell him that i would appreciate it if he could respect me as not to tell my ex (or anyone else!) anything about me.

Really there's nothing you can do He's your father. Even though he's being a bad daddy. For starters let him know how you really feel about him doing that and explain to him that he is hurting you by doing that. If I were you, I would just pray about the situation if you are religious and just give it to God because prayer does change things. I am a witness to that. Pray for your father to be more considerate of others. Pray and ask God for help with what you are dealing with. Ask and you shall receive.

I would tell him it's really over with my ex and to stop dis-respecting me by telling him my business. If all else fails find something your father doesn't want your mother to know and blackmail him with it.This is of course just my opinion.

You already know my opinion..If he was my father, I wouldn't have a father anymore. At least not that I claim. But then again I know a bit more of the story than everyone else here does, and the things he has done would definitely not be done by someone who wants to be considered a father.

i would tell my father to mind his own business!! that horrible. your father should have loyalty to his own family (unless you did something REALLY wrong and he needs to tell the ex that! then i think that is understandable)

What business does your dad have telling your ex anything? And why does your ex need to know in the first place. Poor you with these two guys in your life. My best advice is to ignore them and go on with your life. After all, it's their problem, not yours.

This is a very tough situation. Your father should be there for you and on your side. I would have a talk with your father. Explain to him that his actions hurt you and that you don't understand why he is doing this. Give him a chance to explain. Maybe he thinks he is helping in some odd way.
