Teachers lead us all the way in the kingdom of wisdom. Even at my age, they are still deep in my memory, with their guestures, voices and tunes, special remarks, etc. Of verious specialities, which type of teachers do you prefer?
Friendly, tolerate, patient, strict, scholarly, handsome... Which type of teacher do you prefer? Or all of them?

Its hard to say.Teachers of different subjects may have different personalities.Of the types mentioned in your post,I think friendly comes first. But its better if the teacher is strict as well.Teaching is really an art.Scholarly teachers gain more respect but they should know how to teach.Teachers need to be tolerate and patient coz students today tend to make repeated mistakes very often.Good teachers can be handsome but handsome ones are not always good teachers.Teaching is really a demanding job!

Maybe I can offer you a different point of view... I myself am a teacher. Now, I haven't been teaching for long at all, but I have gotten enough experience in to try different methods. The first year, the advice given to me was "Don't smile until Christmas". Point being, don't be nice at all; it was better to be hard and lighten up than to be nice and get meaner. The kids just wouldn't respect you, they told me.
So I tried it, and got the worst feedback from the students. They laughed at me because they knew I was trying too hard and I wasn't being me. These high schoolers could see right through me!
After that fiasco, I decided to do it my way. I use a lot of humor, and I talk about things they care about. I give them a few minutes at the beginning of class to talk TO ME about whatever they want. It can be as simple as what they did the night before or their favorite sports team. After five minutes of person recognition, they are ready to begin class, and I have very few behavior problems because of it.
I think the best kind of teacher is one who acts normal in front of the kids. Normal is different for everyone, so one teacher may be good because they are so strict, while another is good because they are so laid back.

I never like the strict teachers. The strict teachers has a high requirements for you and if you are not qualified, you have to keep after school or even have a meeting with your parents. It can be very hurtful and discouraging for a student. I like friendly teacher. Usually you like the teacher and therefore you will be good at his/her subject. A nice teacher is to create the interest of study for the students.

First of all, I prefer a teacher who is passionate about what he/she teaches. Then, they should be rather understanding and patient, than strict and authoritarian. This way, it's much more pleasant for the students to attend classes. Gladly, I remember most of my teachers being like this.

I like a type of teacher that is knowledgeable on the subject matter she/he is handling. I really would know if he/ she is not an expert in that particular subject once you asked them, and they cannot give the right or exact answer that you expect them to tell you.
I like teachers that are not bias and doesn't have favoritism. I know most teachers choose students not merely on performance in school but based on what the students give to her/him in exchange of a high grade. I really feel shameful to these kinds of teachers.
I like a teacher who is a Professional. If she/he say that you submit this project on Wednesday, there is no extension and he/she meant what she says. She will stand on her/his principles and is adopted to what the curriculum is and explains the subject matter very easily. A teacher that is giving second chance on quizzes or exams if half the number of his/ her class fails the mark, which means, the student didn't get what he/she teached so she / he will teach it again and make a second exam.
