Is Valentines Day over rated?

What is your opinion of Valentines Day? Some believe it is over rated. In my opinion I think Valentines day is a day to spend with the one you love. Just spend real quality time, time that you normally don't have to spend with one another. I'm not so big on all the candy and flowers. I would much rather have a nice diner with my hubby and enjoy the evening together. What are your thoughts about Valentines Day?
