Dare to be Different !

Sometimes we are like just playing games, wearing mask and trying to be someone else other than ourselves. Why are we like this? Maybe because we are afraid of showing who we really are,or maybe just trying to please other people. You know what, your life will never be complete if you can't accept who you are. God made us a unique individual, He has a unique plan and purpose for each of us,God created you the way you are. I think its time we dare to be different and we dare to accept ourselves for who we are and stop being insecure. Our purpose here on earth is to please God and not people.

I couldn't agree with you more . We all wish we can be the real person who can show our inner thoughts directly and to be what kind of people we want to be .But things are not so easy ,especially for us ,as a social unit,we have to live under the some"rules" .we have to put on masks so that we can easily dealing with different people and matters,we have to cover the REAL self to do what we don't like which can makes life easier.This is a must .Dare to be different need courage ,but life needs to be different ,if all of us live under the pressure of other people and follow the tide ,this world would not go ahead.Thanx for your topic and encouragement ,that's really inspiring me .I hope all the people who join this disscusion can be bold enough to dare to be different as you suggested .

right, i agree to what you had just said. we don't need to pretend for someone else just to look cool and for them to accept us. we don't even need to be different just to belong for a kind of people...as long as your self respect is intact then you should be just fine!

I don't like the people wearing mask.It's sure that we may act differently,but i think it is attributed to the different parts that we play in the different occasions.No matter in what kind of occasion,we should always kown who we are and insist to be ourselves.

yes, I admit sometimes we put on mask because we care about how they think of us. we are scared to be different, we feel insecure. I know it not a good thing to do.however, it is much easier said then done.
