Ok MyLotters, I need you helpful advice please. I live in the UK and my boyfriend lives in Spain but has a Chilean passport which means he can't come here to live straight away. Now as of this November we have been together 2 years so I can apply for him ot have a relationship visa to come and live with me, he has applied for his Spanish passport so he is waiting for it to be authorised (he can have one as his grandmother was spanish). Now my problem is I am waiting for money from my ex-husband which should be through in about a month, then I am free to buy a house when my boyfriend comes over. Now I am deciding whether to go to Spain for 6 months to live with him (I can take my job with me, I can work remotely via the internet) or just wait here until his visa or passport comes through? What are your thoughts please.

If you're really that much excited to be with your boyfriend then go ahead. But finish your problems with your ex-husband first. And after everything goes well, then go to your boyfriend. Since you can take your job along with you, then there would be no more problems. But the problem may rise if you stay with him in Spain just for 6 months, he may think that it's already fine that you guys are together in Spain and decides to just stay there.
