Sneakers or flip flops?

I'm a Floridian so I do wear flip-flops a lot. Unless it's cold.

Well for orthopedic reasons I have to wear sneakers, in fact I'm dieing to wear some more stylish shoes, but my doctor recommends that I wear sneakers more and stay out of those other shoe styles and I dont like flip flops because I dont like the way that line of material go's in between my toes it just feels uncomfortable but I like sandals there nice.

hello smooch that depends on what kind of a season that we are having around here where that i live as to what kind of footwear that i need to wear for the day. i would love to wear sandles everyday of the year like that. so in the cold months of the year here, i wear tennis shoes and then in the spring and summer months of the year i always have sandles on. i also keep my toenails polished with some light color of fingernail polish when that i wear my sandles. i usually do not bother to keep my toenails painted during the cold months of the year because nobody sees them. lol and it is almost spring time around here and i will be wearing my sandles. i cannot wait for nice warm sunny days to get here. take care and have a beautiful day today!

Well they say that when you're in a foreign country you can distinguish a Filipino family living there if you visit their house and see flip flops around. Very true because we Filipinos don't like to walk barefooted like the Indians do. And aside from that we do have flip flops even in the toilet or bathroom.

i'm not much of a flip-flop person. it's usually either sneakers or bare feet with me. haha

I agree totally flips flops ! I live in a small resort in southern Spain which means for the majority of the year I get to wear my beloved flip flops - I hate it for the few weeks I have to wear "proper" shoes !

hi my dear friend, i love to wear flip flops but i love to wear sneakers too. i think wearing sneakers is more comfortable if you have to walk and roam around. flip flops are just for a stroll or for a very short distance wearing footwear. in hot climate one love to wear something open and i also love to wear them but not if i feel that they will be exposed to sunlight for a long time becasue it will burn my skin too. in sneakers there is no sun burn issue. one is tension free. i am big fan of footwear and i am having big collection of it .

In the summer here in Colorado unless I have to go to work I am in flip flops. I hardly ever were sneakers much in the summer, some in the winter but mostly wear my new lined Crocs I got for Christmas. They are warm and easy to slip on.

I'm a flip-flop person if I actually need to put something on my feet. I wear them all spring, summer and fall and as far into the winter time as I can! I hate for my feet to be covered up. They're so easy to put on and take off, too! I shouldn't wear them because I have flat feet but I cannot stand to cover my feet when the weather is warm--I'm looking forward to flip-flop weather!!

I usually wear sneakers, you never k now what your going to step on,lol but where I live in the summer, I do wear not flip flops, but open toed shoes, sometimes flip flops if I have to go downstairs really qucick to do something, otherwise it's sneakers for me and it keeps my little feet nice and snug. so that's my choice. I used to love wearing flip flops before because i found it effortless to leave the house with just slipping my feet to my slippers. In addition that there is a certain trademark of flip flops, despite of its pricey cost, encourages a lot of people to purchase it. It was almost a status symbol that's why you can usually see lots of people wearing the same name of flip flops. But now, instead of collecting lots of slippers, i now fancies myself to the hippest sneakers. There are cool sneakers in the market that can perfectly fit each and every outfit. i just love wearing them because it looks different, odd than the others who are usually wearing flip flops. More comfortable also because there is no risk for your feet to get hurt by other people.LOL

I love flip flops. I would be wearing in the winter if i could but i get real cold feet as it is.

I prefer flip flops or flats to sneakers, but at my job I have to wear sneakers. So, I have a pair waiting in my car to change into! I like the freedom it seems to give me to wear them, I guess its just that I like being outside and flip flops let me feel the outdoors all the way down to my toes!

I have 5 pairs of sneakers and the same number of flip flops. Both are comfy to wear but most of the time i wear sneakers.

If i may ask a silly question. What are flip flops? Slippers? Perhaps we may be having the same thing in our country and calling it by a different name. If they are slippers, well girls here are fond of having many pairs of slippers. Boys usually have only one pair that is the bathroom slippers. Boys usually wear shoes when they go out.

I love love love my flip flops, I have about 3 pair that are my absolute favorites, and about 2 others that I wear only with special outfits, and I only have one pair of sneakers that I hate...LOL, I really do. I want to get a new pair, but I have only had these ones for a year and it isnt in my budget right now, I will wait until summer and look around and try to find a cheap pair, but I love my flip flops, thank goodness in the summer I can wear my capris and flip flops everywhere!!!! LOL

Well, it actually depends on where you're going and the clothes that you're wearing. If I'm just going somewhere that I don't need to dress up, I'm pretty comfortable with just wearing flip flops.. But when it rains, then it's time to use those sneakers so that my feet won't get wet, haha. :)

I wear flip flops everywhere. It doesn't matter the weather. I lived in Florida for 8 years so now its just a habbit. My boyfriend even makes fun of me because I'll wear them when its really cold so then my toes are frozen. LOL

I don't wear snickers that much also. I don't used to wearing socks. I love flip flops. I think it's more comfortable to wear.
