Ghosthunting

Last night my hubby and I had been invited to go to a late night vigil in a haunted pub. As we are pretty curious about all this sort of thing we decided to go and as a treat hubbys mum paid for us all to go. So last night at 11pm I was sitting in a pub with a few other people ready to experience it. It was all very interesting, but apart from the odd little thing nothing really happened, no odd noises or lights or anything. So my first ghosthunt ended pretty disappointing, there was something personal that happened but I am going to open another discussion with that because I feel it is seperate from this one. So has anyone else ever been on these ghosthunting evenings and did you experience anything? Would you like to go on one or is it something that you just do not believe in at all?

My husband and i would love to go on a ghost hunt. Usually nothing really happens, I've been watching TAPS on tv and usually they walk away with no evidence. What I really want to do is go no a Big Foot Hunt.. now that sounds fun.

I watch those sorts of programmes, but sometimes it seems to me that they do not spend enough time in these places!

There may have been some interference. People who were not subseptible to that sort of thing. Nice experience though i bet. I hope you don't give up on these opportunities. Good luck in the future.

I had this feeling in one side of my head at one point it was horrible but i did not say anything because some people were not taking it seriously and were just messing about.

Well, I firmly believe that alot of people around doesn't make it easy for them to come about. I have never known of a situation where they did come when there were alot others around.

Hi there.. I want to try ghost hunting but Im not sure what I'd do if I really see a ghost.. But one time, my friends and I went to a cemetery.. that was in the evening.. We just wanted to frighten ourselves.. so we walked into the quiet, grassy, cemetery.. We didnt see a ghost.. But we had one creepy experience.. It was a windy night, leaves were really falling from trees but the candle lights were never blown off..

Hi, though I don't believe in all those things. but, i do get scared when others tell me stories about these ghosts. some ugly sounds in a dark night from your courtyeard can make you scream too. though i have experienced some sounds like this but never got any chance to meet them. I don't know super natural forces are still therer or not. but, have seeen quite a few photographs of some shadows like in worlds most haunted house's search...

We watch so many shows on this subject and I find the shows quite fascinating. My husband would want to see hard proof that it is true. He has voiced to me that he would like to spend a night in a "haunted" house. Not sure that it is something I would want to do though.

I can't really say if I believe in it or not. I do believe it's possible, but I've never witnessed a haunting. I have a very good friend who lives in Canada, in a major city, which I'm visiting again next weekend. Anyways, they do this haunted walk, where they take you on a tour of a bunch of different buildings which are supposedly haunted, or at least were haunted at one point. My friend lived in this city for 20 years or so and had never taken the tour until last summer when her sister came to visit and wanted to take the tour. She said it was very interesting and she heard some really cool ghost stories. She also had some of her own ghost stories from people she knew. Anyways, if I get up there in the summer I'd love to take one of those tours. I think it would be quite interesting.

I definately want to go on one again, but one that is a bit longer and in a bit more of a haunted location.

We have been many times to different things, but never experienced anything truly horrifying. I think the thought of getting scared made us more scared. LOL! It was just a creepy night waiting for things to happen. I have always pretty much been dissappointed that I didnt see anything.

The build up to it all was more exciting than anything, but when we went in the haunted room I had such a pressure in my head and I just wanted to get out.

I am part of a paranormal investigation team. We've been on several investigations, in hopes to come up with scientific validation of paranormal occurences. Sometimes we get something, sometimes the evening brings nothing. I hope you'll try again. That first experience is something that you'll always remember.
