I'd EARN a LOT more if...

NO WAY! Are you rebooting your computer at least once a day? Are you performing a deframenting of your system so that it runs at it's optimal performance. Are you using Dial-up as your means of Internet service? I'd check those things, because I use DSL and I don't have any problems with any websites running slowly or anything like that. I had that frustration a while back , as well, but it left once we switched to high speed Internet. Hope the above information is useful to you.

No i dont have a problem with this site being slow. However my email site is.Yahoo especally when i open some of my mail folders. I dont know if this is because of how many letter that are saved there or what but yahoo can be maddenly slow sometimes.

Only sometimes since switching to DSL.. then I run a scan on my spybot to see what's up.. Also we bought an external drive (I think it's called) and we moved lots of files onto it, freeing up space on the hard drive.. as we were getting a bit low on space and that was slowing us down big time.. too many pictures on this thing!

I really haven't had this problem myself. I use a cable modem and the site seems fine for me. The problem for me is that I have 4 children and trying to find time to come on here and post daily gets hard sometimes. Are you using a high speed connection? Or are you using dial up? I hope it gets better for you soon. I know it can be frustrating when you are trying to go fast and you have to wait for the computer to catch up to you. Hang in there, and hope for the best. Try to check if your internet connection has a problem. I don't have problems opening Mylot in my computer.

No, it doesn't happen to me, actually mylot loads a lot faster than facebook. Happy Mylotting ^_^

Are you talking about mylot itself or your Internet connection? I've seen mylot load slower than usual before at least once or twice. I know it was this site as I checked some other sites and they loaded just like they usually do. And here I am on dial-up, so I know slow. LOL

Hello koalatbs! I think that the reason why you are experiencing that is because of a slow internet connection. When I am at home, I do not experience having a slow connection. But when I am at work, I have the same experience as yours. That is because although we have a good internet connection, there's just too many of us all over the school that depend on it. I suggest that you get a faster internet connection.

Well I don't shut down, but it does annoy me that it is so slow at times but if I have set my self to do a certain amount of responses I normally keep going even if Mylot is slow at the time..lol..littleowl

I don't think you're alone and I very much agree with you. When I was more active, I always kept myLot open and posted throughout the day. Now that I don't keep it open it logs me out and I have to log back in and even that takes forever. Yep, irritating to say the least.

Honestly - everything loads slow for me. I'd earn alot more if i wasnt on dialup!

It was awful for me last night. I tried posting four or five times to a discussion and it never would go through. I just finally gave up. Haven't had any problems this morning, though, so far.

Its because ,, mylot page has so many images and different titles and subtitles to download which makes it slow in your case ... so try to open without the images being shown,,,,i have opera browser and so i have the option of preventing downloading the images ,,, which made my downloading pretty fast.... I totally agree. Some days I sign in during lunch and just want to go nuts, but it goes so slow I only get to 4-5 posts :( I'd earn more money if the pages loaded faster and I'd earn more money if we could skip the "tagging" step and the step where they ask you to add the interest.

If you have dial-up, mylot is going to load slow no matter what you do. I have DSL and use Firefox as my browser now and they load very quick for me.

I haven't been on here much as of lately.. and was MIA for a very long time.. but it is and has always been where it lags (badly). It shows it's loading and just keeps on trying to load. I normally hit the stop button then refresh and it would fix it 9 out of 10 times.

Yes, when I had dial up, it did this a lot to me. I could not stand to go through this. I am now on WiFi and sometimes my connection to myLot is not promising. It is very hard for me to be on the Internet. So, yes, this has happened to me a bit. That explains why I was unable to post many days. But for some strange reason the connection is very fast.. It was like this all yesterday. I was able to post to almost 100 discussions yesterday. If they keep this up, I will be good to go! So, I am here for now, but I don't know what tomorrow brings.. It is really unpredictable. I hate slow connections! I love having Roadrunner. This is a fast speed of Internet connection. So, I do know how you must feel. I have been through the same thing.. I hope that you can access the Internet with no problems or complications real soon! No one deserves to be slowed down!

It happens sometimes then I'd just quit and do something else like blog... or watch a movie. Even though I'd rather earn some than waste my time, I don't have the patience to wait for a page to load when it takes more than a minute. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Like other people have already said, MyLot is loading fine for me and others. The only slow page might be the front page. You should get your computer checked out or get a better internet connection. If I had more time, I would be earning more on MyLot as well. I try to get online here when I can.
