I am back from my trip from Arizona. What is your favourite vacation spot?

I am finally home from my wonderful trip. I was gone for 5 weeks. I have a nice tan. I have missed the wonderful discussions here on mylot as I was only able to go on the internet for very breif periods while I was away.
How is everyone doing? I hope all is well with all of you.
I would have to say this was one of my best vacations. But it would have been so much better if my husband and kids were with me. As it was I went with my parents. That was fun as well but I really missed my hubby and kids while I was away.
Where is your favourite vacation spot? How long did you stay for?

glad u are back & glad u had a good time. i don't have a favorite vacation place. don't ever take vacations. enjoy then while u can.

I did enjoy it. I just wish my hubby was with me it would have been so much better.

Hey sketcher! I have never been to Arizona, but I had a close
friend who lived there for awhile and he loved it there! He
said it was beautiful! I don't get to go away on vacations
much. The only places I have really ever been was to Canada
which I went to about 5 times and I loved it there. I usually
go to Florida to visit my Mom. She lives in Ft. Lauderdale
and I stay at her house and we don't go very far from where
she lives. I spend alot of time at the pool getting a tan
too! I love to lay in the sun and swim! It is beautiful there
too.

Florida is a beautiful place to be as well. I have been there a couple of times myself. But I must say for a warm place to be on this continent in January, Arizona is the place to go.

That's a long vacation - what a nice family to let you go for so long. I just had to chuckle to myself because you said you got a nice tan. I am sitting here in my turtleneck sweater typing away in Phoenix, AZ. I can't believe that I think that 68 degress is cold now. You were here and getting a tan, while I was freezing! lol

LOL. I was in Yuma AZ and it was between 70 and 80 the whole time I was there. I wore nothing but shorts, tshirts and sandals the whole time I was down there. Now I am back home in Canada and it is about 25 degrees up here so I know all about being cold. So much for my tan. It will be gone in no time because the sun wont be back for tanning up here until about June.

I love to go to the beach. Florida or Gulf shores, orange beach it really doesnt matter just one of them. Anywhere it is sunny with water.

Glad that you had such a good time! I don't have a favorite vacation spot because I rarely ever go on vacation. To go I would have to leave the desert and that is very difficult for me because I like it here too much

Well it was a really beautiful place to visit. But I really missed my family and home like I couldn't believe. It was a fantastic vacation.

Hello Sketcher. It is so nice a vacation you have spent with your parents in Arizona, a beautiful place that I have been dreaming to pay a visit to. I love those wonderful scenes there. I cannot afford a visit there, but I am glad that the Internet provides us with a lot of information about it.
Well, I spent my winter vacation in my hometown together with my family. I love the wonderful time that I have spent at home. Now I am back to work in the school and I miss my hometown very much.

I missed my family a lot as well. I couldn't believe that I would miss them as much as I did.
While I was away I took over 2000 pictures and videos of my trip. It took up 3.5Gbs of space on a DVD!! It was great fun I can tell you.
