Ticketmaster Scam

Is anyone else pissed off about Ticketmaster's practices? Lately, when you try to buy tickets online for a show, the tickets seem to sell out in about 5 minutes. Then, you are redirected to a webpage called "Tickets Now" that is also owned by Ticketmaster, but those tickets that were $90 on Ticketmaster are now hundreds of dollars more than orginal price! WTF? What about all of their convenience charges and service charges? Last September I logged on to buy ACDC tickets for the GM Place show in Vancouver, BC. I was sitting online waiting for the tickets to go on sale. As soon as 10:00 a.m. came, I hit "refresh" to put myself in the ticket cue. I got a pop up message saying "you have been refreshing too much, you will have to log out and then log in again in 15 minutes". GREAT. When I logged in again later, all of the tickets were sold out. I was then redirected to Tickets Now where the tickets were $500 EACH!!!! Needless to say I didn't buy the tickets. I waited for the tickets to the Tacoma Dome to go on sale and I again logged in and waited for the sale to start. I ended up getting some of the best seats I have EVER had for a concert - 3rd row floor - WHAT A SHOW!!! I couldn't hear for three days after. But I digress.... I am super pissed about Ticketmaster's practices. Do they think people have thousands of dollars to throw around on concert tickets? The regular prices are already ridiculous.

Wow, that's horrible. I use TicketMaster and have never run into this issue thankfully. If I did. I'd also be pretty pissed. Doesn't this constitue scalping which is against the law? Send their parent company ,Interactive, an email and see what they say. They also oversee Expedia which I have run into issues with.
