I have been on diet for a couple of years but to be honest I have not kept it during the last few months. I keep Sundays to have something nice like chocolate so that I would not feel the need to crave for such food.

Whenever I want to lose weight I have second thoughts...I am not fat but I just want to get a bit of my tummy fats.. I just can't help it when I see food..lol.. I guess I'll be happier eating than dieting.

I tried a lot of programs, slim fast, hodia, weight watchers, exercise, crash dieting, stacker 2 and other fat burners. Not that I was extremely over weight, I just wanted to lose a 20lbs, have more energy, feel better about myself and have it all nutritous, without counting calories, going to meetings, going to the gym everyday, starving myself, and denying myself the foods I love to eat. The program I found worked well for me. It consisted of having two smothies a day, vitamin supplements 3 times a day and at dinner I can eat anything I want like I am not on a diet. With my extremely busy schedule as a Medical Assistant and EMT this worked well, and after seeing and hearing the results of other people that I met on the same system I was amazed. Not only does this system help you lose weight and keep it off, it's all natural herbal, designed by nobel prize winning doctors at UCLA, been around for 27 years, and solves all the bodies nutrient needs at a cellular level. My girlfriend lost 112lbs on this over a year and is a mother of 4 children and has kept the weight off for 5 years now just by this system. If you have any questions about this I would love to share my secret with you and let you decide if this is something that you would like to try.

The first of the year I started a new eating plan - not just to lose weight, but to eat healthier as well. I can cut how much of everything I eat, but if I'm not eating healthy foods, it doesn't accomplish anything.

I am just like you. All I have to do is open the fridge and I gain weight. It just doesnt seem fair at all. I tried my own version of nutrisystem by buying only diet meals in the grocery store and eating 2 of them a day, one for lunch and one for supper. I had yogurt, banana or cereal for breakfast. Once a week, I would splurge and eat what I want. Also stepping up the exercise helped a lot. But now I am older and have been sick and unable to exercise nearly as much. I took up swimming instead and combined it with dieting for 7 months and never lost a thing. I too am very frustrated now.

I have realized the best way to lose weight is to do the "Half Portion Diet". If at lunchtime you usually eat 2 slices of pizza, just each 1 slice instead. Also i drink a 20 oz. bottle of water before i eat anything that way i won't eat as much. I have recently lost 25 lbs in 2 months doing this and i feel great. It's a fun thing to do and your not starving yourself while doing it. Also..you pick one day a week to eat a sweet items. I picked Saturday because i'm usually out and about on Saturdays. It really really works...Try it! When you fix your plate to eat at anytime of the day...just take half of it off and drink 20 oz. of water or your favorite drink before you eat. You can eat tasty foods just don't eat as much. Also another important thing is to try and not eat any fried foods and Stay far away from McDonalds burgers. Instead of burgers i grab a southwest salad with grilled chicken...It's awesome! :o)

i used to resort to crash dieting but really feel awful not being able to eat the food i want. then in 2007, i instead took tennis lessons. i lost 10 kilos in 3 months. i get to eat what i want but tennis burned out my fats.
