losing job

due to economic crisis today, businesses are shutting down so no more jobs available.. workers were force to leave or laid-off.. as a citizen what can you suggest to those who are losing their job and how to prevent such situation..

I would say that you need to learn to live more frugal. Start growing your food and do things to save electricity and such.
