What's all this about Pickjack not paying now?

Lately, I have heard people whining that pickjack doesn't pay when they say they do. That's a load of bull! I posted in a discussion recently that I received $0.87 from them and someone commented that I'm lucky and they don't pay and a bunch of bologna like that. Well, lately I haven't been very active due to the bug posting a top question, which I need to see if they've fixed, but still I got $0.72 from them just now, which is my 2nd payment in less than a month! It's not a lot but since I have been relatively inactive I'm pretty happy about it, and it proves that they do pay! So, for all those that have been paid, here's your chance to tell everyone else. For those who haven't, I don't even wanna hear your whining because they do pay and if you'd check your PayPal history you would see that, even though it isn't the instant you get the email. I think the email is just supposed to be a notification that you will be paid, although I admit they should say you will be rather than you have been. Still, both times they have paid me it has been within 12 hours of the email, actually less!

I also receive the Pickjack notification earlier than the money really arrives to my Paypal account. I received the email last night but the money is sent to my Paypal account this morning. I am glad that it pays. I already get my payment three times from Pickjack.

Well, just this day PickJack had paid me.. I had just received the email coming from PayPal that PickJack had send me money.. Well, its less than 1 dollar but at least PickJack pay me not like other earning site that I've joined.. Its really hard to trust some sites nowadays.. I think those people who had said that PickJack didn't pay them, maybe it delays or something wrong had happen to their accounts.. Everything had reason and I think they need to ask it to the admin of PickJack for them to clarify something..

Zhuuraan,
I hear what you're saying. You're speaking from your experience and that's fine. I respect that. However, it doesn't mean that the people who have not been paid are lying or whining. They haven't been paid and they're voicing that - the same way you've been paid and you're sharing that too.
Yes, Pickjack do pay. I agree. But not to everyone that payment is due. And I'm not talking 12-hour discrepancies here, but complete date shifts of more than a week.
take care...

Again, I hear you.
I don't know the number of people they pay and those that they don't, but speaking from my own personal experience of using PJ, they've paid me 3 times out of 4. I didn't really care for the money, but I was curious about how they operated in general (as well as enjoying doing the q & a). For me though, skipping a payment, changing payment dates at the last minute, not having a central place (like a 'News' section on their site or a forum) where members can be notified of what's going when there are problems, is, in my view, an indication of standards they need to raise.
In any case, it's great it's working for you, and that you're enjoying your time on there.
take care...

Hi browneyed i agree with you they are very clever they are paying some and not paying others so that mixture or fractions of opinions will be created and to zhuram you know one thing pickjack was one of the genuine site i ever surfed but 1 and half year before i got $50 from them but then they suddenly stopped payment and with anew scheme they launched now with lots of irregularities,do u know i was the person started discussion about pickjack first then many people joined, listen truth is always truth for you truth is pickjack is paying for me pickjack didn't give my some of payment though i got only fake mails that you have been paid. Why some body will tell lie against any site no site is enemy of any user,we all are here for earning nothing else.

They wouldn't go and pay 50 people that got payout and not pay 50 more. That's just stupid! I did see the date change once, but I don't think it is a big deal. They responded to me in an email about something else that they are revamping their system, so that could easily amount for the date change. Maybe they've decided to start paying every 2 weeks instead of 1. They also said they were modifying their system to try and eliminate some of the terribly ridiculous questions. Also, I forget what it was but I did see one discussion from the day I got my first payment that was whining about not being paid early in the morning, like immediately after receiving the email from pickjack. This person did not even give it time to go through paypal and get the email from them. That person at least was indeed whining.

zhuuraan,
Some people will just sound the alarm prematurely. It is just human and I am simply not surprised here.
However, I am just concerned as to how come there are deductions in our earnings. I understand that one is paid when we answer the questions correctly and post questions. We will not be paid for wrong answers but there is never a mentioned that there will be any deductions for being in error here.
But we are warned that if our Top Questions gets deleted then the whole tree of our work will be gone! Period. Yet, it does not explain the deductions I am experiencing along with other members now. It seems like there is some unexplainable gray areas that are not clearly specified and until the host actually comes forth with the answer, I just suppose we will just have to experience some "twilight zone" with our efforts and earnings.
Cheers and have a nice day ahead.

zhuuraan,
Sorry, I think this part is only hear say and it was never cast in stone at all. Do check the FAQs than to listen blind on this one. Believe me, I have gone through the FAQs and conditions and I just do not see any mention of this deduction except for the deletion of Top Questions.
Quote me if I am wrong.
Thanks.

I forget where I saw it, but I believe it's true, even if it's not in the FAQ. Besides, the FAQ is of course frequently asked questions, so if nobody asks, it won't show up on the list. Either way I believe that it is true because there have been a few days taht I got a couple questions wrong and lost more than days that I just got a few negative rates.

I think people from other countries are ahead of us by a few hours and so they aren't paid on the 11th. People in those countries are actually paid a day late. I told someone from India that last night. They shouldn't expect Pickjack to go by their time zone.

That's an interesting idea, and probably right for those people. I wonder if any of them considered that. Still, there are some even here that claim they've gone unpaid, and I'm not sure what's up with that, but oh well. They pay me and everyone I know who's qualified for payment. I don't know why they'd intentionally leave people out.

Pickjack can fluctuate your earnings quickly. I heard someone had $.25 in their balance and in less than a day it dropped to $.01. I think it is possible they have not reached the minimum payout without even knowing it. These are just theories but I have been paid three times.

I have just received an email from pickjack that it has credited my earnings to my paypal account. I have checked my paypal account and the statement of pickjack is correct.

I just received my payment from PickJack. I earned 19 cents so it is not a lot, but that is okay, because I haven't been that active. I had fun answering and asking questions and my goal was not to make a lot of money. Before I joined PickJack I had been told that your balance decreases all the time, so I was kind of expecting that, and it didn't really surprice me when my earnings dropped. To me PickJack is a site where you can learn something and make a bit of money, but I don't intend to spend a lot time there, I prefer to focus on other ways of moneymaking.

Yay! Another payee! Congrats to you! I hope more people see that they do pay. There's not a lot of people saying they don't, but at least a good handful, and it was kinda annoying since i've been paid twice now. I mean it's highly doubtful that they only pay a select number of people or something.

Hi Zhuuran congrats but sadly speaking pickjack didn't pay me for 2 times ,first time i lost 0.58 that time i was very much active ,i got a mail that you have been paid but i checked my paypal no payment even i complained to paypal they told me to give the transaction id so i asked the pickjack admin they didn't give me answer.Show i didn't go there, but for my some question again my balance reached 0.12 this time same thing happened,i could not understand why that site is behaving double standard giving some members ,not giving some other members. But you and some others are really lucky. But it is not worth wasting time there for few cents thinking new questions and giving answers ,too much headaches for little cent that also uncertain.

That is weird. As you can see there are several people on this thread alone who have been paid. Seems rather odd to me. Even stranger is that your earnings were not very high. You'd think if they were going to refuse payment they would do it to the people that make more to save money, but I suppose they pay the ones that earn more because they are more active. Still, I think it is very strange. I know a couple people who've been paid, but aside from a couple of people here on myLot, I don't know anyone who's been passed over unless they didn't have enough. I had one friend that thought he should've been paid and wasn't, but he thought he had $0.43 when he actually had $0.043. I guess he left off one of the 0s. But if you got the email from them saying you'd be paid, you should've been. I also find it odd that they didn't reply to you, because I have contacted them and gotten replies on two occasions.

Hallo zhuuraan, you seem to be very active and familiar with all those sites that have paid you. Say, you make $ 4o a month, how much do you have to pay the internet connection a month? In my country we have to pay around half a dollar/ hour. If I spend 4 hours on the internet daily , that means $ 2 a day. In a month I have to pay $ 60. If I make only $40/ month, I don't make any money. Cheers.
