what is the best thing to do when you loose your job????

I have a good job and can somehow help my family to survive. but as what is happening in global economy lots of people are being threatend to loose their job. we can not do anything if that days come, to think that lots of people depend on you especially if you are working abroad. it pains my heart to see people go home to their country with so much failed dreams they were drowned also by debts by the placement fee that they borrow to land a job. so what happen now if you recieve a news from your boss that you are one of them. what will you do first???? it is hard now to meet both ends for those people who have a work how much more for those person who was retrenched or dont have a job. how should i be prepare for that?

You should prepare your family start stocking up canned foods and things that you can use. Start saving your money at least have 6 months of salary reserved and try to pay off your bills. Then maybe you will only have to work a little to make it. The less debt and more self sufficient that you are the better off you will be.
