Foreclosed Homes?

First of all, are you sure she wants a foreclosed home? Often they are not looked after and require major repairs..unless she is handy or has a handy man and wants a fixer upper, I really wouldnt go this route...A lot of people who dont pay their mortgages, also dont look after the house as they cant afford repairs either. You can find lists on the internet but more often than not, they require payment for a list. Real estate agents have foreclosures but by the time they get them, their fees are added to the price. Another route you can take is to actually contact different financial institutions, finance companies etc, in the area where she wants to live, and ask if they have any...If they have some they would be more than willing to tell you so they can retrieve money on it before it goes to a realtor

My hubby uses ziprealty.com. It shows foreclosed homes on there, as well as homes that are under short sale. Good luck to your sister!!
