What You Really Think of the Stimulas Plan?

Ok...I will be the first to admit I don't keep up with much news recently...seems to be all bad so I try to stay away. I know there is a huge uproar about the stimulas plan that is coming up but I guess I don't know enough about what is in it to really form an opinion. Maybe all you can fill me in.
What is your opinion on it and why?

I guess I have to wait and see. What I'd really like to know is what are they doing for these companies to prevent them from laying off thousands of workers each day? That's what I really think they need to focus on. Giving everyone an extra $50 a month isn't going to do much when you don't have a job in the first place. Stop the layoffs and people will have jobs to make money to spend it.
