Michael moore...trash or treasure?

So I happened upon part of Michael Moore's movie Sicko showing on Showtime last night. I didnt get to see all of it. I was wondering what the general opinion of his movies is? I read a little about him today...some people seem to believe his movies are good some seem to think they are filled with false facts.
I am interested to know if anyone here has seen any of his movies? If so what are your opinions of them? What is your opinion of him?

I absolutely cannot stand the guy. My grandparents are friends with his parents (he and my dad are from the same little town in Michigan, Davison) and apparently his parents are quite embarrassed of his antics. Just the stuff he says makes me cringe. He's a typical left-wing nut-job.

Persona;;y I think he is an idiot. He makes money off of ripping on other people. It is pretty easy to rip on others but very hard to come up with answers and solutions. Isn't he from Canada anyway? Don't they have some issues he can make stupid films about?
