Imitation may be called a fake one coz it is not made by the original one since it is not manufactured by them and use the brand name and logo for selling purposes without ensuring the quality.
Do you buy or wear clothes that are just imitation brands?

I am not a Brand conscious, but whenever I see imitation clothes, I don't and won't buy them. Branded clothes are actually expensive compared to imitations, however, the latter have obviously low in quality. I am more conscious of the quality than the brand. Meaning, if I see clothes which are not so known brand, but the quality is apparently good then I would buy it. I would not waste my money buying on clothes that have low quality even if they are so cheap.
Good thing, most of my clothes are branded and signature. I did not buy them, they were gifts.

Hello there! I knew some who are also into imitations. Claiming as if they are the original brands. There's this one girl who is selling to my friend imitations and she persistently claiming that the blouse, jeans, perfume and lotion came from the U.S. and selling it in an unfair price. She is also trying to convince me that I will buy her products and i told her, "No, i don't need one". My friend bought in installment basis. When the seller left, I told my friend to give back the products because they are not the originals and you are fooled with the price. That afternoon after work, I asked my friend to come over to my place and make comparisons of the products. After few days, it turned out that those products were actually got from a mall in Greenhills, a mall where you could buy imitations of Branded clothes, bags, perfumes, lotions and even mobile phones.
Good thing, am familiar with signatures and brands.

my first perception in imitation clothes... they are the worst.. though, i met a lot of people who buys imitated products because of the imitated brand and not on the quality of that clothes, i still feel bad with them.

I guess i do sometimes. I buy what i like and i don't pay attention to brands.
so I have bought them before i'm sure. sometimes you can't tell the difference quality. usually you can but sometimes you can't and the off brands aren't always bad and the original one is always going to cost more then a knock off.

i don;t wear imitation clothes and imitation jewelry as i hate them more because their quality will not be good and they fade quickly and cloths sinks also after 1 or two washes.
so i prefer for branded clothes only, rather than imitation clothes .but i will see according to my budget.

I agree! Although branded clothes are expensive, they still got the quality.

I would absolutely never buy a fake Louis Vuitton, Dooney & Bourke, Vera Bradley (ugly anyways), Juicy Couture, Marc Jacobs, etc. However, I do absolutely ADORE Forever 21. That store is exactly that, an imitaiton store. They take the clothes seen in Kitson, Saks, Fred Segal and on the runway and remake them for us normal people. They imitate the clothes to the point that DVF (Dian Von Furtsenburg) has sued multiple times. I love that store!

You come up with the most interesting topics!! Thanks.
Well, I'm not a brand name person, ok I sort of am. I like to make sure I'm buying quality but I don't necessarily have just one brand or one store that I shop at. For example, I recently bought my Sari from a company that does custom work. It's not "brand name" in the Sari industry but I liked their set up for doing custom piece tops and skirts. I also recently bought two blouses at Torrid because of the style. Not so much the quality because they don't always have the "best" in quality but the price was right, and the tops were cute. I bought a Victorian replic skirt several weeks ago from a company out of Iowa that does period pieces and the piece I ordered was seamtress done, rather then machine because I wanted a truly quality piece. So, I think that it is indeed better to buy quality then something that is put together cheaply. It will last longer and is a better investment of money.

i buy branded clothing because of the quality and i am sure that they will last for a long time.. i have many clothes which are branded that i am still using right now, i buy them in the past for about a year or two and still they are still useful to me.. but sometimes i buy unbranded clothes..
thanks for your response..

As far as clothing goes, I don't care about brand names; I buy the cheapest thing I can find. I would rather spend money on something more interesting than clothing. If it covers me up, I'm good :) Cheap is good! Designer clothes? Forget it!
