What is it that makes people fall in love with the Philippines?

Hello mattwilkie! I am happy to know that you're married to a filipina. I am married to american too and that he came here last july to marry me. Although he is applying a visa for me to join him there, he really loves the Philippines. He told me that he loves it here because the people are very nice. Everyone are smiling and very friendly. It seems that the life here too is so simple plus the place is really beautiful.

they say people fall in love unexpectedly, no one knows the perfect answer but if i were to be asked, all i can say about why people fall in love with philippines specially pinays and pinoys is because we are different from the rest of the world. loving, caring thoughtful are the one that makes people love pilipinos and the many wonderful places found in our country not to mention our beaches.

its nice to know that foreigner still loves to come to our country despite the political and economic instability. you obviously have heard filipinos complain about the politics but still optimistic. that's the good thing about the filipinos. they always look in the bright side. the idea that everything will turn out okay eventually definitely helped us to cope with whatever problems that come our way, be it disaster or whatever. hope you find that optimism is very contagious! haha!

Well, besides Philippines is rich with beautiful and attractive tourist spots, I think it is because we Filipinos are family-oriented. We always want to be with our family, and we care a lot of them. We do everything to keep our family close. I also think that we are very sociable, and good communicators. Although some of us may not completed their studies, we can understand English well enough. Not to mention the talented people who have given pride to our country, and still continuing to do so. I hope you enjoy our country, and stay here for good.
