Tonights ...American Idol

Thats funny, because I am the exact opposite. I never watch after the auditions, I think thats the best part. It's hilarious how many people wait in like for days, only to make a fool of themselves in the audition. I feel sorry for the ones who actually think they can sing; you know, the ones who get up there and say "My whole family says I sound like...". Shame on those parents, shame on the siblings. But I did watch tonight I think they should not have eliminated the guy with the cheek piercing; he was good, way better than the woman with the annoying laugh and decided to cry every episode. The blond whose husband was also cut, she was good too. And the Amy Whinehouse looking girl...she was good too, but she just didn't sing like she did in the first audition.

I watched it. I'm honestly not impressed at all by this season's talent. They do have a lot of good looking people though. Which isn't a bad thing when they're trying to sell records. However, the show is much more interesting when there's a lot of good talent. They need to find another Carrie or Kelly. I think David Cook will do well though, his new album is amazing.

I don't watch this, not even sure if it's available on my side of the pond. You have to remember that this show is'nt really to find talent, its to provide entertainment by having some really rubbish acts so that they can be made fun of. If someone got's voted through without even being able to remember the words, then that just shows how silly the show ( and its audience) can be.

I've also noticed that. Some of the hopefuls that went through the next round forgot the lyrics and there is this girl who forgot the lyrics in two performances. There are others who went home but are great. I don't know what the judges are thinking. Do you remember the scene wherein Simon is arguing with the girl judges because he wanted the pretty girl to go through instead of the girl who can sing? I'm glad Paula and Kara won the argument.
