Public restrooms

I once wrote an editorial about public restrooms in school for a project, and good pretty good response from my classmates about it, so I thought I would share it here.
I don't actually have the article with me at the moment (plus I can't copy and paste right now anyways), so I'll just summarize what I talked about. Basically, my argument was that those architects that build public washrooms should really think to add more stalls in a lady's restroom than the gentleman's, due to the fact that on average, more girls go to public restrooms, and take much longer going, while guys take about half the time. This is why you always see long line-ups to go the restroom. Somebody should really campaign for more stalls, it really ticks me off when I have to wait in line and then next door I see guys going in and out at their own pace and never having to wait in line. What do you think about this, my fellow myLotters? Do you think it's unfair, and there should be more stalls in public restrooms for women? Thanks for reading, and happy myLotting!

I agree with you. I also hate having to wait in line just to take a piss. Aside from the increase in stalls or toilet partitions, Ladies Rest Rooms should also be spacious as I am sure It will always be crowded. It would also be helpful to have a big powder area. I really do like going to malls with a lot of restrooms in every level. As you know, women are the ones who always shop so the restrooms definitely won't be empty. Hopefully architects will take your argument into consideration.

It really sucks for me that my editorial didn't make it in the paper (that would've meant an automatic perfect). And I thought I made a pretty good argument too. They should really start paying more attention to people's needs and not equality (in this situation). Thanks for your response!

I agree. I also think that the women's bathroom should be more well feminine. Maybe that's just me but I hate feeling like a bunch of guys just got done in the bathroom I'm about to use.
