Nowadays the Valentine day is celeberated by all the religions. The streets are filled with valentine cards and gifts but this timethere is not much cards and gifts of extra stall not seen. Here some political parties are against these celeberation and all sorts of protest they do. I normally dont celeberate this day all the college student hand will be filled with valentine ribbons. Happy mylotting.

yes `dear nini89. yeah i am aware abou the political mileage being extracted by some vested interests in some political minded people!!
well what a shame in a country where goddeses are worshipped lot of rapes of minors are reporte and many go unreported and in the name of political colour they are against this day!!
shame to their kind of thinking .

hi dear nini89 i share your concern and express my resentment over the fanatic style of functioning of such political groups!!
i am sure the local administration will take adequate measures to stop any serious situation and better sense will prevail and any major untoward incidence is prevented!!

Besides what I wont mention that my husband always expects for Valentines day hehe I wanted to get him a small present. I totally forgot about it when I was shopping today though so now I don't have a present for him at all. We usually don't give each other things anymore for the small holidays but I just wanted to get him a little something to be nice and show that I cared. Sometimes doing something that you don't usually do and doing it out of the blue once in a while is nice. Anyway he has this small collection of decorated collectable mountain dew bottles. I wanted to see if they had any Valentines day themed ones out right now or just any more of them for sale that he doesnt already have. They are a little more expensive then your regular bottle of mountain dew and dont hold as much liquid in them but he likes to save the bottles after he drinks them and has them in his game room/my computer room. If I wind up going out tomorrow downtown to pick up some gifts maybe I will be able to find him one down there. I doubt it though. The other ones he has were bought at Wal-mart and that is no where near where I live.

You are an Indian.I'm not an Indian. But an inhabitant of this sub-continent.We have our own culture. That is very old and rich.Actually our Valentine Day is Dol Purnima or Falguni Purnima(Full moon of Spring). However we live in a global village. We are influenced by western culture. In Valentine Day I shall send some
greetings to my some of my friends.

I am not planning anything special as I have no one to spend the day with. I wish there was someone special but that is not to be for me. It is just another day of the year for me. I quit looking forward to this holiday a long time ago. I do hope you enjoy the day with your loved one though.

Hi! Happy Valentine's Day although it is not really a big deal for me, even when I still had a boyfriend. Now that I'm single again, I will hang out with my best friend, perhaps pamper ourselves, then later go out for drinks. I am not really looking for someone at this time. I just want to have a great time which I normally do on weekends.
Have a great time and happy myLotting!

Today is valentine's day in my country. I will just stay at home since I am not feeling well. I got a fever and a headache since last night. Supposedly I would have gone home since my husband lives in another place but since i am not feeling well i prefer to stay in my parents house for today than to travel. Thanks for asking. How about you?

i did nothing for this special day i dont have any boy friend now it was but break up ...is really very bad thing that comes in life and make you very helpless. but now these days i am staying with my parents i am very happy with this and now i dont feel like making any new boy friend because love happens only once in alife and it goes with you forever if break up happens still one cant stop loving each other. i still happy that we love each other.

hi dear anjalisharma_iipm it appears i ave hurt your feelings somewhere and i now it hurts!!
jaane kyun log mohabbat kiya karte hain ....
well it is the most important feeling that GOD ever created among the humans and all other animals!!
but the pain of separation is too much to treasure!!
i hope after the gap of some more tim , in a unique cycle of its own the things will brighten up and another young man will appear from nowhere to hold your hand and i wish you soon forget the past as a bad dream!
good luck and love life ahead!!

just stay at home and watch a movie maybe. i think this is an occasion that is extremely hyped. it's so commercialized as if the celebration is a "need." i'm not saying we should not celebrate it all together but love can be celebrated everyday if you want to. it's such a cliche but it's true. especially now that we are under a worldwide recession, we should think carefully on how to celebrate. but if one really feels the need to celebrate, think of romantic ways that will not break your wallet like a home cooked dinner and dvd, just spending your quiet time cuddling and talking, play a board game together, watch sappy movies etc...
