How many of you use Wi-fi modems for your internet?Is it good/bad?

still using a wired modem here, however, i do run the connection to a wireless router, and then out to various computers, xbox's, and what not. i haven't personally used any of these "wifi" modems, i'm assuming your talking about a usb or pc card style device that you plug into your laptop. both connection "methods" have their weaknesses and strengths, either way you go, make sure you take measures to protect yourself. i would suggest a good firewall (if you're running windows xp or better you've already got one) as well as a solid anti-virus (AVG, Avast, Bit Defender, etc). and you should be fairly well protected unless you're really hittin' some bad websites.
