With global crisis in our midst, what personal convenience are you willing to give up to save some for more important expenses? It may be as simple as foregoing a weekly trip to the beauty parlor for a pedicure or hot oil treatment, enjoying TV more often than cinema, or more home cooked meal than take-out.

I think I will lessen my time spending watching tv. That's the least I can do, I will spend time in earning money to cope up with this crisis.
We should also make a proper diet in food, eating vegetables and fish are best alternatives in eating meat always.
I really hope that this global financial crisis will end soon.
Happy mylotting!

I guess I could just commute to work instead of using my car. It would be difficult since I work night shifts but I think it's for the best. If I could save my gas money, that would be alot compared to commuting expenses.

There isn't much like that I could give up, since I never go to a beauty parlor, or seldom to the cinema.
I try to buy cheaper food (when it's on sale) and clothing (always on sale) and reuse as much as I can.
I take the bike more often than the car during spring/summer/fall and only goes shopping once a week. That saves some.
We're giving the newspaper up - that will save us some money and we can read most of it online any way.

A lot actually.
1) Trim down watching movies in cinemas from twice a month to once every two months.
2) Cut down spending on pirated DVDs. (Sorry folks, I can't afford original copies.)
3) No more branded clothes, there are quality affordable clothes out there. And,
4) Eat-out once a week only. (My niece said we don't need to eat out, Jollibee has delivery )
